I realize this is less of a tutorial than I intended it to be, but whatever, here it is.

Guitar Chords: G, F9, E5+, Am7, Em5 All chords are variations, except for E5+ It's hard to learn quick switch this chords, but easy to master Easy because it's the same pattern for all chords Hard because it's finger style Music is love

This helped so much! Another way to play that first chord that is slightly easier for me is literally picking straight down the last 4 strings 5, 5, open, 3. Same chord, without the insane stretch. Then you can switch right back into the alternating picking pattern.

I’m wish I had his other instrument too! It would blend so much better with the uke, which is something I’ve struggled with in recording as a guitar/ukulele player. But you played this really well. Your play through at the end was awesome.

If anyone finds the placing the first chord difficult, you can try x-x-5-5-0-3 (relative to the capo ;) and the plucking pattern as DGBE (4321) .

I’m having difficulties with the high tempo (172bpm?) and the subtlety different chord changes. Sometimes it goes over the a minor 7 shape (which actually is the "center-chord"🎾 of the song) and sometimes not. Big thank you and greetings from Germany!

Hey there! Your video was very helpful and you definitely nailed the notes, but I was tinkering a bit and I think I found a much easier way to play these exact same voicings up the neck and down a set of strings. If you use my method, you put the capo on the 9th fret, and the the shapes to each chord is as follows (relative to the capo). X X X X then later X 3 3 3 3 5 0 0 0 2 4 4 2 0 2 2 5 3 2 0 3 X X X X 0 The only part of my way that's tricky is 1, if your guitar doesn't have a cutaway it could be impossible, and 2 the second chord of the chorus is a little harder my way, but for me its a worthwhile switch because it makes the first chord much much easier, and honestly you can just play the first chord of the song in lieu of the actual second chord in the chorus and it will sound only one note different, and pretty much has the same function in context (super cool how the voicing is ambiguous enough to sound like the 1 chord or the 5 chord depending on the surrounding context). Thanks for your video :^)
