Only three weeks into this programme. Already I'm noticeably stronger - I can't believe how good the cardio feels - and generally feeling better than I have for a really long time. Such an inspirational approach you have. I love the simplicity and total absence of BS. Cheers!

Man, thanks for all that you do! Such an inspiration! I did this work out with you and did not achieve 200, but I did get 185 NS! A PR for me…! Thanks again brother 👊🏻👍🏻

Smashed it! I've only done 170 NS one time. Have not tried that in a LONG time.

2 hondo?... 40 minutes?...Epic! I'm climbing up on my navy seals. Hope to hit 100 in the next 2 weeks. Started to feel like my legs were not getting worked b/c of my flexibility. So started doing full squat down then sort of leap to push up. Discovered this may be called a rocking chair burpee. If I'm doing them right. I'm not so elegant as @burpeesking. might be doing them wrong - too much impact on shoulders - or might just be right and the mod is epic. My thighs, sides, delts and glutus are toast. Don't think of as an every session thing, like jumping, long term, the impact (how I can do em) on shoulders would wear 'em out. The #BDP is the right program for life but are there mods, like these, you might weave in? If so, what? If not, teacher, why - what is your reasoning? Thanks again, for changing my life Max. Happiest of New Years to you and all the Busy Dad Crew.

Great question, Ivan, and great progress with your seals! I have nothing against you adding occasional variations for a new stimulus. But it is not something I do because I want to be an ambassador for the program. I want to convince people that these two movements really are all you need to physically thrive. And to do that, I need to live my message. There are any number of excellent additional exercises one might incorporate, but none are necessary.

Hey, Max! If you’re up for it, I’ve got a little challenge I’d love to see you attempt. It’s simple, but brutal: 5 navy seals and 5 pull-ups EMOMx20. I completed it yesterday and nearly cried lol. I couldn’t tell if I was out of breath or strength by the end. Cheers!

Sounds brutal! I'm not sure that my pull ups would be up to that.

Any tips on burpee mobility or will this just come with time? I’m finding that in order to complete the movement I am having to land my feet very wide

Hey my man. My advice would be to try in and outs. And spend some time in a deep squat each day. And you'll definitely get more supple as you go on in your practice

Stupid question here 🙋🏻‍♂️but is your only exercise burpees? ( haven’t scrolled through all your videos ) Reason I ask is you hear all the time not to do the same exercise continuously. But seems you have proved that wrong my friend 👏🏼 also will looking at muscles worked it seems like burpees and a good pull up regimen would really be all a person needed.

I totally agree!! Yes indeed. Burpees and ten pull ups per day are all I have done training wise in almost 4 years!
