His dad literally dove in front of a car to save him from being hit and broke a ton of bones. That’s a bit strange about the abuse because it doesn’t comport. He even took a reporter to his childhood home and the good memories etc. Did it say who abused him?

On the other hand, I could totally see the series ending with Stewy being present at Ken's first board meeting as sole CEO and head of waystar. The final shot of the intro shows the back of Logan's head as he sits at a table with other company officials, and one of the people in the blurred background is clearly Stewy. If they mimic that for the series' final shot and Stewy is there when Ken finally takes the reins, I'll be very happy.

@@ADBProductions_ Honestly that moment felt kinda sad to me. Like I understand Marcia is in the right but it felt so cruel. She obviously had feelings for Logan even if his towards her weren’t real. She backed him on anything and was vocally supportive of him in the end against the kids. It seemed like she just wanted to grieve with everyone else that knew him but instead she’s sent back to sit alone on the subway to go be alone in her apartment after the man that said he cared about her died in front of her and she watched them do cpr for over an hour. I just didn’t see her getting booted like that as funny either. It felt like hammering in that the Roy’s truly only take care of their own and Greg barely being part of that rubbing it in to get an in with Marcia was another sad departure from his hesitancy in suing green peace. Edit: “Marcia is in the right” is somehow getting translated into “Marcia was wrong”. Someone can be in the right and still be an Asshole. Idk I listen to the accompanying podcast and the writers seem to disagree with you guys thinking Kerry was just a gold digger and you misread the scene.

I feel like Roman was giving the sincerity and gentleness to Kerry that he so desperately wanted somebody to give to him. When she was crying and panicking, Roman probably empathised with her emotions, but he was repressing his instead of vulnerably baring his grief. When his grief finally boiled over and spilled out at the funeral, he was just like Kerry in this moment.

Literally, don't get why people like Roman so much when he's an angry, creepy, awkward brat that told his sister he would masturbate when she breastfed her baby. This is my Succession prediction [as of ep 8 latest ep]. The siblings will lose. It will all come crashing down, in a Shakespearean-esque way. It will appear to viewers by start of ep 10 that Kendall will win. Then he will lose, whether he is betrayed, outmaneuvered, or if he relapses. It will be sad, but ultimately, that would be the most fitting for Kendall's character arc. The Roy kids will lose their power, money, and status. The share price of Waystar tanks or something intervenes with the siblings' trusts. They are setting Ken up to fail, sadly. For as much as a like and root for Ken, he is a tragic corporate anti-hero in a way who isn't a very good father and, albeit having some degree of business acumen and negotiating ability, he might not be the killer viewers perceive or that Ken thinks he is becoming. Perhaps someone we haven't met yet takes over the firm, or one of the "old ones" like Karl or Frank. I hope I am wrong. Ken is the best of them all. Most ambitious and intelligent. Peace

The share price doesn't tank, the children don't lose their money (they actually make billions each through the sale), and neither does a new character take over the firm, nor one of the 'old ones'. Mattson buys it, as planned, and Tom takes over.

Character development Turns out Roman can have some natural empathy and sense of (in)justice. It just never shows because he lives in a bubble where no one is ever vulnerable and innocent enough to deserve it, and he's been traumatized into perceiving everyone as a threat so he has to be an asshole constantly to protect himself mentally But in this scene Kerry is powerless and hurting her won't earn him anything so it's one of the only interactions in the show where he can let go of his insecurities and act like a normal decent person, because someone has to
