lol cool that you noticed. Yeah, there's a shot in the s4 trailer where Roman throws his arms up toward the protesters and I was like "THAT scene needs to be in there" so I waited and waited for the scene and basically dropped it in + exported haha. Thanks so much!

One piece of mixing advice: The music should dip more for the dialogue. In a trailer you want the audience to focus on one thing at a time. In a music moment, let it rip, in a dialogue moment - the dialogue takes over everything.

I think the audio is the only thing that gives away this isn't an official trailer. It's a first class effort.

God i love fan tributes. Obviously theres nothing quite like fully original art, but i genuinely think that in some ways the stuff made by people inspired by a specific piece have the most power

There's nothing better than spending time with your family... unless you are a Roy

Man I loved this, honestly made me realize that I should be watching more fan trailers to decide which shows to watch. Honestly both the season 1 trailer and official full series trailer just don't get the show right and make it seem much more generic than it is. Especially loved the song choice from the 50 second mark onwards.

thank you so much I’m glad you liked it. For this one specifically it’s not really the most exciting cause I sort of robbed it from another HBO trailer. The White Lotus S2.. and then it would’ve been criminal to not include Britell’s score around it. It’s mostly a gut feeling but instrumentation is a big part of it. I did a trailer for Better Call Saul a couple months ago and the one thing that caught me was the electric guitar in that song sounding very similar to the original theme song, so I kept it in mind. It’s good to make a spotify/apple music playlist and add anything that MIGHT work, even if you eventually scrap it! Think about the score of the movie/show and what similarities you can find
