The mitch slap gets me every time. His voice is just once-in-a-generation and it's so pure and angelic. Dimash is phenomenal technically and can do vocal gymnastics the like of which have probably never been heard before but his voice doesn't move me the way Mitch's does. Good point about Matt. Like everyone else I loved Avi but we get to hear his wonderful solo stuff now and it's sad that Matt doesn't get the credit he deserves especially as he's been with PTX as long as Avi was now and he's as good, just different. Like you, I agree that it was good that he didn't try to sing his verse the same way Avi did and it was great that he was able to show his incredible range and hit those high tenor notes!

I think I like Mitch's verse even better in this than in their original. He seems to be more relaxed (?), but the maturity of a few additional years has just made his voice even more amazing!

That’s a very astute observation about Avi and Matt. They are each great in their own way. Recommend their cover of The Prayer. This is their best video in my personal opinion. Subscribed. For a great live song, recommend their Joyful Joyful from their Evergreen Christmas tour.

Totally agree about Matt and Avi. They are both amazing, but not the same. I’m happy Pentaholics accepted Matt. He has big shoes to fill, and he did so!

I like how you put it about Avi and Matt "They are both skilled in different ways". Amen. I recommend "Joyful, Joyful" which they also did on their "Evergreen live tour".
