Succ Kuno buffs we need but prolly wont get

These are some changes that i think kuno could use to bring her back to viability in the game. Still waiting on them labs changes that they promised....

    is awakened okay? was thinking about a new main.. or is the stam, regarding switching stances, for pvp, going to be bad.

    it probably will be totaly forgotten as usual, got 1 overtunned buff and thats it maybe after 2 years again something

    The Oblivion Outfit, its not available anymore. Was a limited time outfit for the release of the mountain of eternal winter i think

    As a person who never played this class but absolutely found them unfightable pre-nerf, the only real problem was the pseudo-invis movement. I was fighting kunos that were like 1v10ing with no DP and teleporting in and teleporting out of camera view and killing everyone with 100% bsr. everything else about the class was fine, but instead of nerfing any stamina i just think some of their skills need reduced movement range. They did that to succ ninja way back in 2019 and tbh after the overtuned buff that's honestly what it felt like fighting succ kunos.

    Yeah thats what i mean when i say untrackable. A lot of her skills make the character disappear and the effects hard to see/follow. This lets kunos basically get away with a lot of unsafe movement or stupid shit because people are only seeing them for brief moments. I dont think kuno needs reduced movement range at all personally. Succ ninja, since you used him as an example, can keep up with succ kuno. It costs them more skills to use to do it but they can do it. They also have MUCH shorter cooldowns than we do when it comes to movement so they can do it more consistantly. Kuno is only slightly faster over long distances but much slower in short distances. Also if kunos are wiping groups with 100%, they are giga gearlord chads with e buff popped. the damage on the skill is good, and siince they changed it to give the Z buff when using 100%, it became possible again to do this but its rare

    ​@@nylis4090 i have no issue tracking succ ninja because he has to do more skills to cover more distance and he doesn't rubberband all over the place. a bunch of ba rats from vicious with 610gs aren't giga chad gearlords they're just carried by the buffs. i've never seen succession ninjas 1v10 and teleport around like pre-nerf succ kuno, you guys can do like 2-3 skills to teleport back and forth around the SE beach when ninjas are primarily fighting you in the same circle the whole time. again i don't think the nerfs were appropriate with what PA went with but a range nerf is definitely necessary. It's never acceptable for a class to wipe tons of people alone and teleport away then do it again. it's why they nerfed nova's accel mode

    @@cereal9285 Sorry this just doesnt happen all the time. You saw 2 clips or so of some kuno clapping cheeks and assumed thats how it always is. That just isnt how things went for kuno. If you have never seen succ ninja's "1v10" as you put it, then you dont want many succ ninjas these days. Both Armin and Yelo to name a couple popular ones are quite capable of doing this. Though again, its not a common occurrence. Just so its clear kunos dont teleport all over the place. We are fast for sure, but we dont have teleports outside of very short range ones like Blockjump and flash. The reason it seems that way is because we are chaining skills together quickly and our skills make us invisible during parts of the animations. But somehow this is ok on succ ninja because it takes more button pressing even though its essentially the same thing.... Also to counter another point, they never touched nova's speed. Its all still the same, shes still fast af even faster than kuno. The nerf she got was how she got stars breath so fast which, incase you dont play nova, is what she needs to be able to go into accel mode. So all the damage she has, all the speed she has, its still there. She just cant accel off cooldown all the time outside of pve. Unless its a gigachad nova who is somehow getting people to hit her FG skills a lot but thats unrealistic. You say the range is too strong and yet Succ ninja can cover the same distance but again because he has to press more buttons thats fine in your opinion? So what about nova, she also can cover similar distances while being even faster in some scenarios, she also is able to rotate sa nearly 100% of the time. Kuno even pre nerf couldnt rotate 100% because she has no lingers. How about musa, who is a meta class, can hold RMB and mostly keep up with kuno, while having a totally overloaded kit? Dont get me wrong, speed in the game is an issue, but it is most certainly not a kuno issue. Again i agree that she needed nerfs. But what you are asking to get nerfed instead is what you find annoying rather than what is actually balanced. The dsync comes from unprotected movement, and thats not ever gonna change in the game because of how the game works regardless of what they do to balance.

    @@nylis4090 That's not me seeing 2 clips of kuno doing whatever, that was me fighting them at stars end with two guilds. It aint me saying what should be nerfed or what is balanced/annoying, her movement with her damage output wasn't balanced at all lmfao. They tried balancing it with stamina nerfs, and yeah, it's balanced now, she can't spam it all the time. What i'm saying though is that it should've been a tone down on how much range her skills have instead of how often she can spam them. I'd be absolutely fine with kunos not having to worry about when they use tendon cutter if they couldn't just use it to displace themselves in like 6 different directions with solar flare distance for each sequence in only 1 skill. Again, like, the difference with succ ninja is he has to use more than 3 skills to cover the distance a kuno moves. It's much easier to track, much more straightforward, and much easier to react to.

    @@cereal9285 You do realize that good kunos could have done that even before the rework, they would just turn the camera? Also each sequence is NOT a solar flare lol. As for succ ninja, they can do it in 3 skills so its fine, even though they can spam it wayyyy more than we can? The cooldown of their movement skills are much shorter, alert stance doesnt even have a cooldown. But yeah ok more button pressing means its fine and balanced even though functionally in the hands of good players its the same, right... I think i mentioned tracking earlier though maybe in another reply or something. I think thats the biggest issue kuno has, not stamina, not movement distance, not damage. Being unable to track a player is silly. Weather its DK using the rose tp thing they have now, Ninja doing 17 skills in 3 seconds and being invisible for 14 of them, or kuno being invisible most of the time shes moving. With how fast the game is these days there is no need to all the disappearing going on. Tendon cutter should be trackable, flash slash, etc. The only thing that should make kuno disappear is concealment really. Anyway im not a fan of this idea where because a class presses more buttons, it should just be better. I think thats stupid way of looking at things and makes the game far more imbalanced because then the only "good" classes are the ones that the general population of mmos dont want to play because its too hard/complicated or whatever. A big reason why people like musa is because its soooo simple and so good. Nothing wrong with classes like that generally speaking.

    Dude pa the way they buff its just like ppl askin for buff and pls dont play my class these meta rats destroyed the game tbh i dont blame them PA DONT KNOW HOW TO BALANCE ( they literally said in rework new classes will not get a rework look at them now absolutely clowns always remember that they had to cap siege wars because of their mistakes) kuno didn’t shine enough we always say just nerf blinkz shes not broken shes a small scale 1v1 class, not sorc literally everything god tier class

    how about just reverting all nerfs and remove protection on flash slash and tendon instead? i mean, you never have full armor/ rotations on kuno anyways, so we have to move to actively dodge enemy attacks. just let her speed rock man... and then, correct me if i'm wrong, but she is only that strong in 1vs1 anyways, right? maybe even nerf her hp, i don't care, but all of the other things they can possibly do, just kill her identity. and for pve just remove every single change without nerfing other stuff instead... for real, there was no reason to even touch her for pve, besides buffing her really bad feeling/working skills. also, how about just fixing the game? lock this shit finally at 60 fps and things will be slightly easier to track too. also, if hit/hurtboxes in general would be more clear, people should have easier times to learn matchups and less reasons to cry.

    I disagree with almost everything here. Our lack of SA means we most def should NOT lose our 2 best skills in our kit. If flash and tendon were unsafe, they would be unusable 95% of the time. and that would only further hurt the class. She was strong in small scale as well not just 1v1, but i also dont think that was reason enough to gut her. I agree touching her pve was stupid but i dont think they did that intentionally. They dont understand their own game well enough to realize that we need flash for pve as well. I dont like the idea of locking the games fps at 60. 60 fps base is a decade old at this point and 144 is standard for most monitors these days but that wont fix dsync issues. People should 100% learn how to fight the class thats the biggest thing i agree with here. Good players could fight succ kuno pre nerf but they players are too quick to just complain and whine for nerfs instead of learning

    @@nightdarker472 Had to run through translate but sounds like you are saying awakening is better than succession on AOS because of the stamina. I agree, succ is mostly unplayable because of how bad the stamina is. You can get away with it in lower elo or when fighting casual players but fighting good players or playing her in high elo is rough.

    @@nylis4090 it is just stupid, that characters move faster, when having more fps. You literally force everyone to run the game at low settings to keep up. there is a reason why fighting games are capped at 60, whereas every competetive player is running atleast 144 hz monitors regardless. just to help input lag alone. Edit: anyways, this game has serious issues in terms of combat. I really still think kuno was fine pre nerf, considering what this game is all about. But since people cry about everything, i think we need a drastic reduce of sa and aoe in this game. this way people may start thinking, instead of just autopiloting sa rotations. I don't expect this game ro get combat like in peak c9 days anymore, but with the current system, it is impossible to really balance this game in a way most people can have fun with it. when we really need protection on skills used for sniping people, because it is unusable 95% of the time without it, i really doubt the tracking issues of other classes are the real problem here lol.
