Hearing David go “I’m sorry I cut you off” within the first two minutes was so bizarre. A self awareness severely lacking on the other side of the table normally 😂

I've never seen Tom so nervous to impress another comedian before. That's a massive compliment to David Cross

Love the Tom episodes, watching Bert is just getting sad now.

Home Movies is great. Reminds me of staying over at a friend's house in elementary school staying up to watch adult swim

You can tell when Tommy has someone he really respects creatively and professionally: he gets sooo much more chatty and really starts driving a conversation. We should all be so lucky to get excited like that!

His career has been so diverse and varied, even though nearly all (or just all) of his endeavors have fallen within the comedic arena. He does different styles of comedy so well, and always elevates any projects he’s a part of. Definitely one of the best comedic actors of the modern era, who I personally think doesn’t get the reverence he deserves. He’s beloved, for sure, but he should be in the conversations that mention people like Carlin, Robin Williams, etc. I’m gonna stop sucking his dick now lol

The fact that they're not only both masters of their craft but very close and comfortable friends with great chemistry makes this peak podcast material imo- love both of these dudes, it's like seeing world's collide. I could hear them riff about food for hours and be totally cool with it.
