This show is really iconic in terms of when it was released and what it means to South Africa. This episode alone shows how black South Africans and White South Africans need each other to survive. It also shows that despite our past, we had the sense to laugh about our new situation. I wish we had another show as iconic like this in the 2020s. We need it.

Ja u can thank our fragile governments ego for cancelling shows like this...can u believe this was one of the shows deemed to racist for new south Africa and why sabc encore was cancelled...u cant even find this, old generations or isidingo on the internet anymore

I always said, SABC would make their forthcoming streaming app worthwhile if they added golden oldies like this. Where you cannot get it anywhere else but on their app. Then their TV license can be justified. Leon Schuster movies, replays of Suburban Bliss, Jam Alley.
