The dark reality is that all these dating apps and sites don't want you to find a long-term partner and get off their service. They want to keep you stuck in a perpetual cycle of short-term relationships and/or hookups that will end and leave you crawling back to them to pay for their services "because maybe the next girl will be the one." It's not about helping you find love - it's a business.

I always say if it worked, they wouldn't make any money. It works for some people, but the majority will be re-downloading it for sure

My Hinge was dead for a while, and randomly starting working when I just send likes without any messages
