Hello.. I had some of my control switches replaced and has upgraded to taller bars.. have never done this.. so instructions say that I need a vehicle verification number prior to starting programming.. if everything was working before.. can I just do the sequence for my specific bike and then should be that easy?.. right?

Hey girl heyyy! If I’m thinking of the same three green wires (2 having resistors), They should all be grounded. So you’ll attach them to a metal part of your frame. I think mine are under one of the three bolts that hold the radio head in place.

Actually not one of the three bolts. I have them under the bolt below that. Loosen up the bolt, put your wires under that, and then screw the bolt back down -> the bolt next to the yellow arrow in the pic below. drive.google.com/file/d/1J9ftPySthOA_1b-nWYAD52FHN04B_5Cy/view?usp=drivesdk

My light is blinking when you hold it but it doesn’t turn red when you press the settings on the steering. Did I wire something wrong?

🤔 hmmm...not really sure. Are you using the wiring diagram from EA? If so, double check your wiring and then try again. I didn’t have that issue so I’m not 100% sure how to troubleshoot.

@@RidingWithRho thank you for your quick response. Yes I did use it from EA but I noticed my pac had 2 black wires on the side of the pac that has the most wires. I only used one of those to connect the black wire from the Ken wood and then connected those to the black/yellow wire from the adapter plug. So I still have one black wire left on the pac

The other black wire has to be grounded.

@@RidingWithRho lol OMG 🤦🏽 so just to be clear you have both black wires from the pac illustrated from EA wiring diagram connected with the black wire from the Kenwood plug then finally connected to the adapter plug black/yellow wire? So in total you have 4 black wires connected? Sorry for the long text. I wish could send pictures 😊

Yup! I think one of my black wires from the PAC may be grounded with the green wires (the ones with resistors) but yup! All black wires (2 from PAC, 1 from Kenwood connected to the adapter black wire) are grounded somehow.
