One thing thats kinda a dark hidden hint in this game is if you find a gold fish egg. And hatch it, Robin and Al An have a conversation about pets. And him not knowing the difference between a pet and a research subject. Offhandly he mentions on his world, Robin would be considered like his pet. I dont think its intentional to the story. But it has some really dark connotations when you think of her going with him in the end.

Subnautica is one of the best game as it has Such high quality graphics and an interesting storyline . I want to see Subnautica-3 in which we get to know more about the precursor planet and how the kharaa bacterium originated and killed billions of individuals on their planet and also why was al-an captured in an alien facility , well it might be because of his negligence but still I want to know :D

I guess it'd be titled Subnautica 2 rather than 3 since Below Zero is more of a spin-off of the original rather than its own game.

I just finished Below zero, and so my Subnautica journey ends. It has been a great year for me and this game was a big part of it. I'm so glad I recorded every second of my playtime in both games as a sort of time capsule. Years from now I will look back in nostalgia watching my teenage self playing this absolute masterpiece of a game.

Bro, I just finished this game a few hours ago and left the planet with Alan. I had no freaking clue that I could’ve done anything with that comms tower I hit the one lit up button, it didn’t do much, and just went on my merry way Little bit pissed because I couldn’t find the PDA log that said what the comms tower was for, and I ended up completing the entire game without encountering that Margarit lady more than once I even found her “locked” base on an iceberg just from exploring aimlessly for quite awhile I loved this game, and idk how much my own idiocy made me miss content/wander aimlessly, but it’s super aggravating to know I missed that entire storyline just because I didn’t poke around the comms tower enough (By the time I found the tower I completely forgot what I needed to do with it… couldn’t find instructions on my PDA… repeating myself…)

When you get AL-AN, the sea monkeys start bringing you materials instead of stealing from you. Once he’s out of your head, they stop doing this. It kinda bothered me that they never explain why this happens

Sam's death is a mystery to me Why she took of her necklace? And why she decided to blow up the cave wile she was in there herself! And the explosion even didn't damage anything ! Creature was intact and she managed to fall down from ladder and die! It seems Altera killed her in that cave and made it like was her own doing ,and they took of her necklace before!!! For some reason Or Maybe she committed suicide !

Dont get me wrong I love below zero but it dosent have the same feeling as the first game like the same "scare" or "spark", for example going towards the Aurora and having that dreadful feeling that the reaper is right behind you. You dont get that kind of feeling in below zero(besides the shadow Leviathan)still a great game though I cant wait for the 3rd game(if there is one) P.s. love your videos keep up the great work😊

Exactly the reason Im here. Sam fell completely to the side. Almost forgot about her. Apparently she just died by rubble, glad I didn't focus too much on her.

I think the story is fun. However felt like a couple of things were missing. Like there wasn’t much insentive to stay in areas longer. The whole area with the vent gardens isn’t needed whatsoever besides one relic scan. And the Ice Worm place you just sorta glide through. Might’ve Been me since I was just trying to get away from the leviathans but each place was just sorta a small part. The story with Sam as well felt just, in the background really.

Completely agree. I forgot about Sam all together. The Vent Gardens were cool, but not only did you not have a reason to be there, but the leviathan actively chased you out if you stayed.

Below zero in a nut shell: Karen wants to be heard cuz she's scared that Altera might use the bacteria as a weapon, so she decides to magically create a cure for it which super advanced alien species couldn't do but then for some reason suicide bombs the entire place killing herself and a random dude. Robin decides to I investigate Karen's death and flies a space ship to a very dangerous planet with zero preparation. Then she finds an alien and proceeds to shows us how little brain cells she has. At the end she just flies with him away even if she hasn't found out about Karen's death

i think there's an alternate ending where al-an and robin's shuttle is ambushed by an alterra gunship armed with rockets and missiles. then a certain black prawn suit comes flying out of nowhere and does enough damage to the gunship to make it back off, leaving marguerite to fall to her death.

I couldn't figure out how to get to Alan, it didn't even occur to me to try the twisty bridges. I kept trying to go the other way. It wasn't until I'd run out of every other possible story lead and explored every other biome that I finally went and looked it up and was like "Oh." So yeah about 20 hours in.

The thing I don't understand, is why Alterra left the planet. The frozen leviathan was still easily accesible, it makes no sense that ALL of Alterra personel would just leave everything because of one cave in and a tiny explosion in one of the labs

The fun answer is that she killed it and made a microscopic boat out of all the apoptosised bacteria corpses but the simplest (and most Luffyesque) answer is it's a mystery.

Actually Sam ends up blowing herself up because she gets spotted by a co worker while setting the explosives up and decides to blow them both up while also not even blocking the cave fully. Making everything she did in the cave useless and killing a innocent human in the process.
