Love this video! What about doing a sublimation video for those that use the convection oven for sublimation? Thanks for all you guys do by the way!! Been a member for over a year!! :)

You could also print out two copies of the design and put on both sides of the mug

QUESTION for you- I am trying to sublimate a hand fan... and I want it to be a solid color with some words on the front.. for example yellow background and it says hello.. would i print out the picture then cut it to exactly the fan size, even though it's a little bumpy? How would I get it to fit perfectly? Or would I also do two layers? First the yellow, and then the words? Or do you know something that's not a fan that I could imitate for sublimation? I searched everywhere on youtube, but you guys teach it best!!

If you don’t have a large printer, can you do more than one press or piece the project together (with heat resistant tape) and do it in one press? I’m looking at the garden flag! Also, can you put the design on both sides of the flag?

You can piece pages together to achieve the desired size. The garden flags are so thin I wouldn't recommend printing both sides unless you make your own doing cut and sew

Loved the Christmas movie mug image you created but I didn’t see how you created it have I missed a video somewhere. Was it an image or did you create it from scratch, is it available to purchase please.

Hi Tanner, my daughter in law and I have done the sublimation conversion, and I know that you can't go from sublimation ink to regular ink once conversion is complete, but can you use different brands of sublimation ink once converted? We are just about out of ink and she purchased one brand and not realizing we purchased a different brand than the initial brand. Can anyone help me with this issue? We are getting FRANTIC!!!

Can I use the ink that came with my Epson printer, yes I have sublimation paper.

I just did made a sublimation T-shirt using the heat, resistant tape and where the tape was it left a yellowish color on the shirt! I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. I am using the same tape you’re using and pressing it the same way, but it’s leaving that color on the shirt from the heat resistant tape.

That's weird did you use a sublimation mug?

I have a Sawgrass SG 500, and everything always prints out pink or red. Do you know how I can fix this? I’ve asked lots of people for help but nobody will help me! They just ask me a lot of technical questions that idk the answers to! I feel lost, and I even got a full size heat press to go with it…

Could I just use the infusible inks directly on the mug? Why do I need to go through the mirror process with writing on paper, if I can just draw straight onto the mug? For something I want hand-drawn, I mean.

We find Starcraft fantastic but you can use either of them as we do.

i don't have a mug press :(

I’m so frustrated 1 when I print my image from my mac, using Cricut design space, using the Epson Surecolor 170 IT WILL NOT PRINT MIRROR!!! It shows it’s mirrored in DS but will NOT print mirror. My husband is a computer/tech guy, he even tried everything and it’s still not printing mirrored. So I have to put it in PowerPoint and print it mirrored. I don’t understand why I’m having this issue. Is anyone else having this problem???

Just trying to figure out what sublimation is???? Just came in my feed but beginning would help to know what you are talking about.

Sublimation, or dye sublimation printing, is a process where you use a special printer, special inks, and special paper to create a design to put on a variety of blank products.
