Love you bro. My mom was diagnosed with an SDH today - non traumatic and she was not on anticoagulants/antiplatelet drugs. Surgical intervention likely saved her life. I have a background in neuro and this video was super helpful for me to understand what was happening more and for my family as well. Bless you and this channel. Love your content and your energy. Fabulous the content of that lesson, good fundamentals of neuroanatomy, plus general anatomy, genesis of the pathology, detailed explanation of anatomical location, how it become into symptoms, and how clinician picks information, guiding to a diagnosis. (Before image tools CTA etc)

I recently had a case of cervical epidural haematoma compressingthe spinal cord. It's really important to recognise it on a CT scan. Nice video!

Great detailed info well done I suffered from subdural hematoma a old woman from Romania told me I have it just by gently pressing the nerves on my foot i never had a ct scan but she prescribed me loads of naturist medication and in the following week I felt like something opened up and had yellowish sticky bad smell and taste liquid gushing from my nose every day for two weeks time She recons I had it since I was a kid but I also started getting grey hair since I was 16 and experienced hair los later on Can you agree is this possible?

This is a very elaborative information which I was hunting to know...very well explained...

I can answer this. There are select branches of the MMA that will feed the cSDH. These are aberrant branches that do nothing more than feed the hematoma. If you do a more distal embolization, you can safely shut those down. There are some proximal branches that will feed the eyeball, but an experienced surgeon will avoid those and shut down the problematic branches.

My dad had a acute hematoma a year back. He survived from the attack. He is 65 year old. His right hand only work 5 percent and right leg work 50 percent only. He needs special care 24/7. His physio therapy going on from Almost a year there is improvement but improvement is very slow. Is there any thing I can do for him any suggestions?? Will patients recover after a year also
