Following you since 100k subs, best content, appreciations from India
Sending you all my love and thanks Zach. You and the team are awesome, and I'm so happy that you all get to share your knowledge and talent with the world
As a layperson, this is the most thorough explanation of the cranial nerve exam that I have ever seen, and I've watched a ton of them.
i love that you're now doing videos about clinical skills, we really need that, because there's a lot of us who are good in theorie but not in practice, and now i can show off in front of my Colleagues and seniors lol
Many medical students are in need of these videos. Keep on doing some of these kinds it's really helpful
me and my homies will be having a clinical skill exam about neurology in 4 days and obviously cranial nerves exam is a big part of it. Thank you so much you guys are real soul savers!
The amount of info and how easy you make it for us to learn makes my heart full! I start nursing school in August. I don’t know if I have to learn this, but I’m here learning anyways!! Thank you!
You have no idea how helpful your content is!
What a perfect timing ! right in the middle of my neuro commitee this video descends from heaven 😝
I'm not even a med student but LOVE Ninja Nerd videos! Great series!
You are life saverJust right before my neurology final! Thank you Zack from the bottom of my heart for everything you've done up til now and for the future content too ❤❤❤
Excellent sir excellent. Not only you have taught us the way to do the testing, but also explained why these tests are done. You have gone above and beyond your call of duty as an instructor. I bow to you. Namaste. You are what I aspire to be. I am a budding PA.
Just want to say a million thank yous!! For breaking it all down and a helping me grasp these difficult concepts. You’re absolutely Amazing. Wondering do you have a video on diabetic meds? Thanks again!!
You can see how much this guy loves what he does and where this channel is. Look at that smile.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR EFFORTS!!! You're a hero really, I just started neuro and you just saved me, thank you so much.
This topic is traumatic for me. My first clinical exam the doctor told me to examine all the CRANIAL NERVES of the patient. I wasn't prepared for that. I took a deep breath and started to examine his Olfactory nerve, but I figured out that I don't have any FAMILIAR substance for the patient to smell, so I thrusted RIGHT HAND PALM AGAINST THE PATIENT'S BOTH NOSTRILS and asked him are you smelling anything?! So he answered me No since my hand has no AROMA 🤣🤣. This will never be forgotten 😂

This is so useful! I'm trying to prepare for my first OSCE so this is perfect timing! Can you do cardio, resp and abdominal examinations?

Thank you so much, you really did a great job of explaining and demonstrating how to assess the cranial nerves.
On the line is a very intelligent man! I can see it. All people should have major respect for men like you! For you to take your time to educate viewers on KZread is a major good deed sir. Alhumdulilah, Respect
Hands down, the best, most thorough, video EVER on the cranial nerves examination. So many vids neglect to explain what the implications are of each part of the assessment, should they be abnormal...!
I know this is for medical purposes and students etc - but this is amazing ASMR. I bet there's a small ASMR community here enjoying it.

I've just finished a whole neurologie chapter "in french" and this is the first video on my home page ,thank you ❤️
Amazing series. You are honestly teaching better than some of my professors. Please make videos on clinical examination of other systems as well, like CVS, respiratory, GIT, renal, surgical cases etc, and general physical examination and other small basic clinical procedures that a med student should know.
Hey thank you for this! I will stay tuned for the series!
Seeing zac happy makes me happy 🥺🥺
Perfect 😭😭👍 I've got my practical finals in a few days and this is a life saver
What a timing🥳😎🤯😢!!!!!! I mean we have our physiology practicals on 17th and here you are with a video.....we love you Zach😍💜.
You should know that every new subject we are on in nursing school I watch your video's first. It has helped me tremendously. Getting all A's thank to you....You are the best.
This gentleman knows his stuff. It's easy to understand him and follow along. I am a new subscriber.
If tongue deviates to the left side it says about right hypoglossus lesion, u said 41:20 that if it deviates to the left - lesion is in left hypoglossus nerve. Thanks you Zach for knowledge I got from ur lectures.

Can smd help. In lecture ‘Corticobulbar tract’ Zack talked about corticobulbar tract lesion when tongue deviates contrlateral. Left pathway damaged - deviation to the right. It is an example of upper motor neurone damage. In this vid Zack is talking about lower motor neurone lesion? Where deviation meets the side of lesion. There must be clinical differentiation in the case of corticobulbar tract lesion it will be spastic palsy and in the case of peripheral lesion of hypoglossus nerve it presents with flaccid paralysys (fibrilationts etc) IS IT?
Amazing video!!! Keep it up zach. THANK YOU for helping me in my university life.
bless you guys. i'm about to have my first osce this month and this helps a ton. thank you.
Thanks man, were are studying the central nervous system in my advanced patho class this week, awersome timing.
this is easily the most intimidating part of the physical exam thanks u very much
You are so dang smart. I’m at the end of my first year of medical school and have my Neuro osce soon which I’m looking forward to. You have so much knowledge and experience to look up to.
