No Ken, no Travis, no Higgins ... Sad year for the New England Forest Rally. New editors are heavy on music AND talking over engine sounds too :(

editing opinions aside, it would be nice to see some closer competition to really drive home how great of a team they have in Semenuk/Williams. Even if it's just one race on the calendar where the top of the entry list is packed full of contenders... THAT would really showcase his talent up against the best around. We saw it in full swing last season and he's still driving his tail off... but it just looks like he's running away with it in 2023.

The way this Launch Control has been made / edited has changed slightly.....but I think it still a good watch!!..to be really honest these 15min / 20min shows are so much more interesting than the WRC videos!!...Well done Brandon / Williams and the Subaru Tesm!👌🏆🏁...keep these videos coming guys!!👍😁📸

Solid LaunchControl ep. Love the little random moments that pop up. Turbo nose, stitched shirt, super notes at the start of that 3.6 mile stage 😂

Really not a fan of the direction of Launch Control. Not sure if the production company changed or editors, but I miss the narration and having each episode feel like an actual engaging mini movie, rather than a KZread highlight reel. Rally Rundowns feel cheap in comparison to the previous seasons of Launch Control.

I think the main issue here is that there is no real competition for them this year. No close battles to make the episodes intense. Just take the ride and hopefully next year will be better.

@@LordxJoe Most of it was because of Ken Block, a prominent opponent for Subaru Rally Team, which sometimes made the video butt-clenching. That is why those videos were really entertaining for all us. Now it's just slow

@@LordxJoe I can agree to a certain extent, but we all know it's not difficult to make something dramatic with the proper tools. They had it too, with the narration and the way it was edited. Even with how relatively uneventful this season is in terms of who is challenging, I think it would be more engaging personally if it was produced like years prior.

Love these, even if they are just great shots of the car on track through corners. Seeing Travis demoted to just a guest commentator was a bit sad though, but knew he wasn't going to be the primary driver after Brandon showed him up.

I see that this is getting some grief in the comments, but I have to say, I think it's the best rally content around. Beautifully shot and edited, good amount of technicality, and the various personalities shine through. I'd love to see Semenuk/Subaru take the step up to WRC now, they've clearly outgrown ARA. Keep up the great work folks!

Brandon seems really bored this year with no one pushing him (no real competition). Hope that changes next year. Edit: would love to see a WRC ringer come in and give him a run for his $ in a few upcoming events. That would at least make these and the dirtfish videos less boring.

The quality has improved : Better and less intrusive music. I am lacking an overview of what's going. The artsy shots have dropped or cut back. Overall it's much more enjoyable than the last episodes and closer to the older launch control episodes.

You know, I enjoyed this episode a lot. I come here to watch flying cars barrel down dirt roads at 100mph, and if there's a good competition that's just icing on the cake.

Awesome I have always wanted to be a rally driver it’s fun but dangerous which can be the fun part

I saw way too many comments in here talking about how they should go back to the WRC. This isn't Prodrive or Subaru. This is VSC and Subaru Motorsports USA. I would imagine that they wouldn't have the funding from Subaru to be competitive. If Brandon were to go to the WRC, it would probably be with some pre existing platform in JWRC, WRC3, or WRC2. Also, I think the best thing that VSC could do to make American rally interesting would be to build the VB WRX to Rally2 regs and compete in RC2. It wouldn't make the championship much more interesting because they attend every event, but at least individual events might be more fun to watch.

I still remember when Barry McKenna brought in a WRC ford to challenge Subaru in a past season, that plus Block riding the rear bumper.....that was what made it fun to watch, they were being pushed... challenged, if a mistake was made, it would hit hard and I think that's why they also had two drivers. Now Brandon seems to always be in the lead by seven or eight minutes. I think they should come back next season with an Impreza not an STi, the Subaru team should challenge themselves. Or they could go back to WRC..... All I'm saying is that from my point of view, the other teams can't keep up with Subaru, It's very obvious that the Subaru team has the resources and the other teams don't. Not only is it up in the air but it's also up to the team to decide what to do next season.... and cheers for a great season!!

Broke his back last year and missed a lot of the season. Then, Ken Block, one of his best friends, died. He was also getting the Nitro Rally Cross circuit launched and expanded.

They should be take WRC in USA for sure and bring back peugeot and subaru in aswell in big game!

If i dont hear, "THIS IS LAUNCH CONTROL " at the beginning, i aint watching it.

Summary of Subaru in terms of motorsports: 1. Launch control feels cheaper. 2. No more STi 3. Not participating in WRC 4. Drivers are "okay" 5. Road cars are less sporty. 6. With Subaru nowadays you just have to appreciate what they were rather than what they are these days. Hey, I own a WRX but Toyota GR is really rocking globally not just in America. I'm scared I'm gonna be convinced to switch very soon and become a GR fanboy 😄.
