The opening diologue was gold XD Having the national anthems for each champion was a nice touch. I won't lie at around 2:15 Brandon and his co-driver gave me de ja vu of Higgins and Drew. Lassic! So good to see that VSC still has a relationship with him. The short notations (like Fan, Fan, Fan) are a riot. VSC @5:27 please for the love of fans, make that a poster. What a shot! All the bonfire alley scenes were awesome!

SO EXCITED FOR THE NEW SEASON! Semenuk KILLED it i love how well maintained and composed he is. Considering what happened last year he knew anything can happen. 13 minutes!

Bonfire alley has to be peak rally spectating. Hanging around a fire crushing some beers watching cars slide past ya. Amazing stuff. My only issue with it is when the smoke causes visibility problems for the drivers.

I love rally and love Subaru, but ARA needs better competition without Travis and Ken. If Brandon wins every race by 10-15 minutes, where's the fun in that?

Always a treat to see launch control. I live in Maui so I don’t get any exposure to rally here. I need to travel To a race soon. It’s sad not to see KB but I’m very impressed with Brandon Semenuk. He has really proven to be an incredible driver.

I wonder how well a SnoDrift veteran would do if/when they contest an event that allows studded tires. I feel like the hard-won confidence on this event would be a huge advantage with better grip.

Travis was racing in NASCAR and likely couldnt do both

I wish I could compare my times in my FedEx truck on those same roads, compared to their times! 😂

Been a little bit since I’ve seen Launch Control! Just out of curiosity, does anyone know why they got rid of the iconic narration through these episodes?

I think there was mention of it before last season. It makes the turn-around and editing much easier and *quicker*. More like a proper race re-cap video. While I loved the narrated episodes, they came out MONTHS after the actual event. If you have v/o, you have to write a script. The v/o artist has to read it (often they're not even in the same local area as the editor(s) and can even be in other states), all the v/o tracks have to get cleaned up and matched, etc.

expect more top teams to join after the first round. Also Brandon is a snow specialist. You can expect on gravel the competition to be on a more level playing field.

5:20 Why doesn't anyone help them? Looks so weird... Here in Europe, every rally, helping drivers is a big part of the experience as a rally fan.

Loved the video, but I gotta say a few things: 1) I'm sad that Ken is gone and that it appears to be a very uncompetitive field in the championship. 2) Similarly, having only one car is a shame because even if the other cars can't keep up the two drivers can compete against each other. 3) Don't like the new regulations with weaker engines and almost no aero. I like cars going fast. Still exciting but still I'm a little disappointed.

Subaru should get back to WRC....

The series is trying to balance performance and cost. With few factory teams in the mix it’s hard for privateers to find the budget if high end aero is involved.
