That's if you can get one. I bought one from aliexpress, they sent me the single fan 4 heatpipe version when I ordered the dual fan 6 heatpipe version. Seller wouldn't cooperate, ali gave me a partial refund. I bought another one from a different seller, they sent me the right one this time but it was completely destroyed. the fan was cracked and there was a big dent in the middle of the bottom of the cooler (where it contacts the CPU) so it's not really usable because you can't get proper contact. I gave up and bought a Wovibo cooler, which cost a little bit more, but also has a shit ton of RGB if you like that, and it was actually packaged properly and I was sent what I had ordered. Very good performance for the money. Can be a bit difficult to install sometimes but can't complain for the £23 GBP I paid for it.

Nice video, I had to replace my HP Omen stock cooler with a cheap BeQuiet2 which worked a treat. I do think the temp results would be slightly different if mounted in a case as the tower cooler can be positioned to blow out the case where-as all the other coolers just blow hot air down on the motherboard within the case, recirculating the hot air which would add to the tower coolers overall winning position

Artic case fans tend to be quiet and long lasting as is the Alpine series and AC does honor the 6 year warranty. Which i seriously doubt the others would do. Also due to the down draft of this style of low profile cooler, they have the added benefit of cooling the VRM. And it does amke a difference.

Great video, definitely surprised by the added guest cooler. Would have been nice to have seen the stock cooler that comes with the i5-10400F. When I built a system with the i5-10400F I just bought the stock black cooler from the 11th gen for £10.

The CO version of the Arctic cooler means it uses a ball bearing fan, hence why it is a little louder. CO stands for continuous operation, meant for always on reliability. The rest of the coolers all use either basic sleeve/rifle bearings, or fluid bearings (the Deepcool models). As to the Dell cooler, it performed so well because the fan is insane (they used to be Deltas, but I can't say for sure that is what the one in the video is). That's why Dell hides the fan curve with it, because on their systems, the curve is tuned for noise performance, at the expense of CPU temps. By using it on another board, it no longer is limited to roughly 60% PWM, like it would be on an actual Dell system. So the results are basically invalidated for two reasons.

I will always go tower if the case can fit it, keeping air flowing in one general direction is preferable to those low profile coolers that disrupt the flow with cross wind.

I have one of Arctic's cheaper coolers in an old Athlon 64 X2 build I have lying about, along with a matching... 90mm exhaust fan. They are both nice and quiet, I do like those and they look nice matching.

I went AIO for my 3700x, decent mid-range one for not a huge amount of money - my room runs very high ambient temperatures a lot of the time (only so much I can do about those) and I can relate to the leaf blower air cooler analogy!

I have the Gammaxx 200T and it cools quite well i7 from 3-4 generations (the CPUs are being used in stock). The cooler is quite flimsy, but if you are careful it performs great for the price.

I picked up an interesting cooler recently for an ITX build. It's a vetroo V3 92mm tower cooler. Cutest little thing but i put it on a Ryzen 2200G and it barely broke 50C on AIDA64

My artist gf chimed in about product design on the fans, as the colour blue suggests cool, calming, and trustworthy operation. You can do some really cool just playing with colours on products.

It's fine to take noise into account. Gamers Nexus always does Noise-Normalized Thermal tests, because noise is a big concern for a lot of people.

Been using the Gamma archer on an intel pentium gold G5400 and it stays below 60°c even on heavy load it also cools the board/ram with a large airflow also blue is quite eye-catching but the fan can get quite noisy. 9/10 would recommend

Running an x58 motherboard + 6 core 2.93 ghz Xeon x5670 in a early 2000's Antec full atx case with one 80 mm fan and the Intel stock cooler. It idles at 70c and sounds like a jet engine. Gonna have free heat in my guest house this Winter.

My friend has a DC C40 which we added a 2nd fan so its a push pull config and it coosted a total or 20€. 18€ the cooker with 1 of the fans, and 2€ for a used 92mm fan because the cooler is 92mm tower, and on a 115w tdp cpu it kept it under 70c

I have a Deepcool Ice Blade 200M that is exencially the same tower as that Gammax 200T but has dual 92mm fans with it. Used it with my Phenom II X4 965 BE and then my Ryzen 5 1600X both at around 3.9ghtz all cores . Worrked well even with overclocking either cpu. Replaced it with the much bigger Deepcool Lucifer K2 just to get more comfortable temps on the Ryzen system. Debating on installing it back on the Phenom II or HP Envy Phoenix I7-4770K system. The Ice Blade 200M has about $15 CAD when I bought it and impressed me enough that I went a Deepcool RF120M Case Fan 5 pack as well when I got the Lucifer K2 and needed to replace the case fans in my system at a fair price. ($55 for the Lucifer K2 and about $45 for the RF120M 5 pack at the time)

Tip: Buy a used Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo. Literally just got one for 20 bucks from a friend and i couldnt be happier. Not to mention that you can upgrade to a much more powerful CPU down the road and not care about cooling. On the other hand, the DeepCool Gamma Archer and the Arctic Horse coolers surprised me. From my experience, those kinds of coolers perform about as well as the intel stock cooler (not good) but maybe thats because im working with older parts that let out more heat.
