I stopped watching KZread videos about 5 years ago. Recently I decided I needed help with my wardrobe. I tried blogs Pinterest but nothing made sense to me. Then i stumbled to your channel and I can't describe the feeling. I am a 37 year old woman with one child and I feel totally lost. I almost cried when I seen your mission video because you described me so well. I am happy to report that I have watched about 10 of your videos in the last 48 hours and I have made my first purchase of basics this morning. For the first time I feel like I have hope to have a beautiful wardrobe. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Uniqlo has an affordable trench in a cropped length and the traditional length too. The cropped one is super cute , especially for petite ladies.

Your Styling the Basics series is marvelous. Have you considered incorporating a video on styling belts? I have many outstanding belts but rarely manage to add them to outfits. Belt magic is all around me but not on me. They are such a versatile accessory that can really elevate and personalize styling. I would appreciate your insights!

I went looking through your archive videos for something on trench coats. I'm wondering what you suggest for someone with a really thick waist? Belting just brings attention to my worst area. I love the tie in the back, but it means the front is flapping around in the wind and I get cold. Would you ever button the front with the tie in the back?

Hi Erin!! You always have great tips to look real chic! I can`t help noticing though that you are walking on stones with those awesome shoes! Be careful as I spoiled one of my favourite high heels when I went to a wedding where there was stones all over the place. I was shocked at how that stones damaged my shoes! It was totally ripped as the heels sink in .

Love a trench coat. I need to get a new one this year, and I have noticed that on the runway coats are much longer this season. I'm 5'4" what length do you think is the most flattering for my height? Also, I so Love fashion as a semi retired interior designer I love all this fashion! I just bought a new pair of Black over the knee boots I love how the look with jeans, black pants, and dresses. However, I am going to be 59 years old this December, and I don't want to look ridiculous for a more mature woman. I am a size 2 / 4 so size wise they look great, I just want to look chic, not trashy. What is your thoughts on older women wearing​ over the knee boots?

That was a very nice coat you wear styling. I prefer the closed belted look. As a side note, I wish more men would wear trench coats. They look so very stylish. Strange how they've have become a predominantly female garment when they were originally men's wear.

I agree and in general I wish men would dress up more. When I met my husband he wore a suit every day. I have only seen him in a suit a handful of times since moving from NY. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Do you buy petite at banana republic? I have a trench from Banana and it is petite and I feel it is too short for me and I am 5'4". When I came to this country 16 years ago petite fit me to perfection, now I feel petites are too short and not. I have not grown! Not up anyway!

Sorry but I don't get the trenchcoat thing. It's neither warm or waterproof so why is it such an essential? I'd rather a wool coat and a waterproof coat over it if it's pouring. You look gorgeous in it Erin and if it's purely ornamental it looks great.

I like the jeans with the center seam, but it makes your legs look shorter than usual. I will be sure not to wear cropped and flaired pants.

love love all the looks... the all white look is one of my favorites. i had an important meeting a few years back when my youngest was 5... as i'm getting ready to leave, (mind you i've already kissed her 100 times ) she takes off and hugs me with the dirtiest food hands and says mummy i love you so much, have a nice day...i cried all the way to work in my new all black outfit. :)
