BUYING AND STYLING TIPS for ways to wear a trench coat!
1. Go for classic neutral tones that never go out of style
2. If you are looking for a trench coat for petite ladies, I recommend a shorter trench coat finishing above or just under the knee for a more flattering silhouette.
3. If you are taller then a longer length trench coat style is more elongating and you can get away with oversized and shoulder padded styles
4. (How to tie trench coat belt) Don’t do the expected and buckle up your trench coat belt! Wrap your trench coat over the front and then use the trench coat belt tie to tie a trench coat knot. Similarly to cinch in an oversized trench coat, you can use the styling trick for how to tie a trench coat belt behind, tying the belt at the back in a knot and leave the buckle hanging loose.
5. Pop the collar, I love this for an evening trench coat outfit.
6. Invest in a pair of sleeve garters to help roll up and keep your trench coat sleeves in place!

Thank you for the many navy trench ideas. I'm going to Paris in mid-June. Is the navy trench too dark for Paris during a day time in June? Should I buy a natural colored trench?
I just ordered a knee length belted trench from M&S in navy blue. I love to pair with my NB sneakers for comfort as i be walking a lot during my winter trip. Would it be ok to pair it with classic ballet flats during winter? We're talking about 10-15 deg Celsius.
I'm 5'4 and I am curvy. and I tried a short trenchcoat and it made me look bigger than what I already am. I liked how the long one looked. But idk which to buy now.

I would always say go go for the item you feel the most comfortable in. And style rules in general are there to be broken and don't fit all 🙂 I personally love a long trench they can be elegant or cool and dressed up or dressed down xx
