I've been 16 times. Each year, i do at least one new thing. Last year, the first 3-4 days rained, and it was cool and muddy. When it stopped raining i got a hose and 5 minutes my bike looked clean and show room perfect. I use Torque detail. Best stuff ever. Everyone else was polishing for half a day or longer trying to get mud off! Mine slid off with hose. I just needed to wipe water off. This must have been early in morning. There was always tons of people on the streets when i was in town. Last note,if you dont mind tge ride the American Legion in Piedmont exit 46 is a full meal and only $14 for supper with cake and ice cream. Best deal within 100 miles.

Great advice!! Another product I like is called mothers mag and aluminum polish with a drill attachment it cleans and shines beautifully. Has many other uses as well like defogging headlight lenses! It did get pretty sloppy last year at the Chip. I will be at Sturgis again this year also if you really want a cheap meal go to the Dakota Mart. i think it's called, right across from the knuckle saloon, 5 dollars for chicken strips!! Thanks for sharing your advice and safe travels!!

So many negative comments. People judging others. Live and let live people. You have no idea what burdens anyone else is dealing with. The rally is supposed to be about people coming together to celebrate the motorcycle culture. Part of celebrating is eating and drinking and dancing to great music. Who cares what someone looks like. They’re having fun. More fun than the kermudgians in the comments here, and most these people couldn’t care less what you think about them. To Tony Light Travels. Great video! It's definitely my favorite event. There are reasonable places to stay cost wise like the buffalo chip if you camp otherwise staying outside of Sturgis in rapid city or possibly an air bnb. Only downside is cost for me. Everything is a bit pricey, but there r ways around it if played smart! Safe travels!

It's changed from when I would go in the 90s for sure but it is safer some crazy stuff still happens if you like rowdy then some campgrounds like Buffalo chip go all night till sunrise burnouts and nakedness

Sturgis South Dakota it's about 20 minutes from Deadwood South Dakota or 30 minutes from Rapid City!

Interesting..Sturgis Law says no parking in the Yellow Curb Marking..Your video shows at least 100 feet of people parking in the yellow zone..🤔😩😩..All of those are in violation? ....No in Law is Understood..this makes that point ..

As it’s a local ordinance, the city reserves the right to grant dispensation for special events. The rally brings millions of dollars to the city. It is more than willing to give up some yellow curb space. I will say don’t have your bike on the street after 2:00 am. The rally ordinance says all bikes off the public way by then. Posted everywhere. They have about 20 tow trucks that will have the street clear in about 10 minutes.

I've never made Sturgis Daytona bike week since1962 do want to. But all I see is a bunch of tattooed children, with a lot of piercings. Scarier than a nuclear war

Do to the endless harassment by the police i do not go to events and gathering like these anymore. In 2004 cops searched every room in the hotel i was staying 3 am . I never went to another bike rally

Even pbr bull riding plays rap now which is crazy, I don't really like any modern mainstream music and the old stuff I used to listen to I've heard way to many times at this point. Still some good vibes. My next video will have more of this rock bagpipes band that I do like. My ladies and lemurs video has them playing a few songs you might like it.

@@TonyLightTravels No Tony, hog stands for Harley Owners Group, I don’t have nor ever have a Harley. Yes the GSX1400 is quick but the TL1000R is quicker and quiet rare. The 2 Veloes are classic racing bikes, the GSXR600 is a full specification super sport race bike. 🇦🇺

You are right I'm a noob lol I see you like Suzuki bikes and lots of speed! I do like me some Hondas, royal Enfield, even some BMW classics. I like your gsx1400 a lot it has a nice body style. I'm still really new to motorcycles I'm thinking of getting a dual sport, not sure yet, so many Kool bikes like the Ural I just discovered,I like dirt bikes tho and off road adventures so I have a lot of research to do.

Well, at least you don't have a bunch of Karen's and Kevin's being woke and yelling " I didn't give you permission to record me"!
