Nicola gave the warmest speech of all prime ministers.

Another wonderful speech including a lovely memory of Her Majesty. It's an honour to hear how she blessed the lives of others.

Most heartfelt address by a lovely lady to Our Queen. Very true that she also expresses that it is very difficult to come to terms with the Queen's passing. Despite having watched many videos since the Queen's passing, I remain stunned and in disbelief. Wonderful also to hear the respective memories people share of their time with the Queen.

I have the finest regard for Nicola. I think she's a fine servant of Scotland.

It is heartening to hear such words together with anecdotes of private times with the Queen. She was indeed stoic, dedicated to serving her country and realm but she was also a beautiful human being who loved her family.

And that is how to do it properly. A lovely tribute very well said.

Please note, That the First Minister uses all the members of the Royal Family's Scottish titles. In Scotland Her Majesty was called Queen Elizabeth and not "the Second". This is because Elizabeth the first was not a monarch over Scotland. Indeed she ended off by calling her, Queen Elizabeth, Queen of Scots.

In such a context, nobody would be confused about which Queen Elizabeth she was talking about, so using the Reginald number wasn’t needed anyway.

The Queen grew up in Scotland that is why it was close to her heart and spent her last days in Balmoral. Scotland should treasure the Monarchy.

“We’ve got Truss”, you’ll find that we in Scotland also have Ms Truss as she’s the PM of the whole UK not just England, so we in Scotland, despite this lovely speech, have both. not sure which is worse.

All those that have worked to get the late Queen from Barmoral to Edinburgh then to London did very well. The Princess Royal, Anne and her Husband Tim in particular.
