Bens facial expressions are everything in these videos. His ability to rotate through his emotions visually is amazing.

As ridiculous as the notion of muggers trying to mug a dragon is, funnily enough something similar happened to me in Skyrim: When I was rampaging as a werewolf, a thief ran up and demanded I hand over all my valuables while I was still in werewolf form. I tried to intimidate them but they scoffed, so naturally I mauled them.

I love that when ben and rowan are mugging each other its 83 gold and when alan steps in and splits it between them he gives them 41 each which is 82. So essentially greg the garlic farmer mugs the muggers for 1 gold.

The muggers are some of my favorite characters in these skits. Ben and Rowan do such a good job of being cartoonishly silly especially with the way they hit their jaws out haha.

The Muggers are the best NPCs. They are the real heroes. No matter how often they are slain by heroes, dragons, guardians, soldiers, they just keep mugging.

"Oh looks like she's already taken BY THE BLACKSMITH!" had me dying

The Loop is one of my favorite sketches. I love seeing Ben repeat the words as he figures it out.😂😂😂

My favorite thing is that Charles was perfectly willing to leave the mugging life behind when he thought Bernard wanted to turn over a new leaf. Dude is just supporting his bro, through thick and thin. He was so ready for that bake sale.

Poor Ben. He's always right there on the verge of self-awareness, ready to look at situations logically...But no matter how hard he tries, the scripting keeps a tight grip on him. The closing of an if/then statement loop must be such exquisite torture...

I can't get enough of "The Muggers". The chemistry between Rowan and Ben is just amazing....and funny!

The chicken skit is just pure gold. "Honeywood deserves a better class of criminal than you lot!"

I love the idea that one of them forces the other to mug when they otherwise don't want to.

That is how smart the developers are. They wrote them so lifelike that the muggers dont even know they aren't real but they wrote restraints into the code so that if they don't follow the mug routine either one of them reigns the other into their default settings. ;)

The loops that all of the NPCs go through are always spot on and hilarious. The Muggers are some of my favorite characters!

The mugger series has to be the best series you guys have ever done. You've given me countless hours of laughter. VLDL has a very special place in my heart

This is my favorite recurring theme in this show. I still think you should have a second episode with the goose from "untitled goose game" just stalking them and repeatedly mugging them.

Mugging the Wagon is prolly my favorite, just for the freeze frame at the end.

I almost thought they were going to use Charles' resistance to mugging stupid things and The Loop to show him breaking free and becoming the glitch character that's broken free of the game's control.

Ben's struggle is absolutely glorious, the man is brilliant at it.

I clicked on this thinking it was a new mugging video. Then I saw it was a compilation and was initially disappointed. Then before I knew it they had mugged me of 30 minutes of my time. The cart and the chicken are my favorites. Thanks for making all of these videos.

A few years and multiple episodes later, the epic mugging saga finally comes to a close.

I'm so happy to watch these again. After watching them though, I'm certain of one thing. I think Ben has the chops to really nail the part of Ash Williams in an Evil Dead remake.

I like the one where they mug the wagon, since normally it's Ben that's making fun of Rowan for the totally obvious and legitimate working game mechanics

The conclusion that I drew from this supercut is that sometimes Charles comes up with good ideas 😂 I hope this is not the last supercut about your permanent characters:)
