Our party did this twice to our DM. Once it was 2 weeks worth of work he put into an encounter that opened a path of prob 2 months of content. 3 nat 20's later - pages meet trashcan, so yah I know that face well

After watching this compilation again, I feel like Rob's acting chops don't get enough love. He's a master of subtle expressions (mostly of the "I can't believe this shit" variety). Watching him react to - let's be honest, mostly Rowan's - shenanigans is the best part of the skits.

@@josephperez2004 No, thats not how it works. The IRS does not have the resources to investigate every single person. They have broad assumptions they make about everyone, and if your tax return differs greatly from what they expect (or if they just decide to pick you) they may investigate you to find out how much you actually owe. Of course it's still dumb, most peoples taxes are pretty simple, and if you assume people are being honest, the government can indeed do most peoples taxes for them, as they do here in NZ.

I too gained +1 exhaustion and 3 points of bludgeoning damage while watching this video.

now i want to make a d20 creature that has eyes on all 20 sides and each eye has a different ability/attack. dm would roll a d20 and whatever number it lands on will be what attack or ability it uses. model it after a beholder

Will, that's only because he's only playing a bard out of need. They didn't have Hamish playing with them. You always need a bard, so instead of getting fucked by a dragon, you get fucked by a dragon, and if good enough, now you have a dragon on your team.

It's so funny in 15 minutes. It's not only Rowan who is holding the ladder that doesn't know he has a ladder but everyone else doesn't know he has a ladder either even though they're staring directly at it only. Rob knows 😂

I really love the attention to detail in everything from the costumes, to the backgrounds, to the special effects. One can really tell how much effort you put into these videos!

This series is great. I've had so much fun watching. I really hope we'll get to see more of the actress that played Schmerple (or Alan's sister). She's fantastic. Her facial expressions and demeanor are hilarious and fit perfectly. You're all awesome playing your parts. She just really stood out to me and I hope she'll get to be on again. Long live Schmerple!

The most fun part is nearly all of these skits are inspired by actual Adventures in Azerim player events. I'm hoping they also make one where one of the players constantly introduces himself, his loss of power, and his fugitive status to everyone he meets. I noticed the beholder on Rob's folder at 00:33. Reminds me of Four Keys Book Arts when Dennis re-bound his 5th ed books and made a metal beholder for the cover.

Ben's performance with the icy door is my absolute favorite! And the mood shift between Poop McDinglefart demise and Rowan's shi... glorious DMing is perfect!

The Ruined Plans skit was great. Instead of the group successfully crossing the rope bridge to infiltrate the stronghold and rescue Vivian, the mage wakes up every hobgoblin in the place and puts the group in danger. Rob's frustration and disbelief at having several other sessions thrown out is easily felt by other DM's as the hobgoblins and Vivian plunge to their dooms.

Took me a while to realize Rowan actually looks like the guy who did mo-cap for Henry in kingdom come. Same way Alan actually looked exactly like the actor who plays dandelion in the witcher.

This whole series was incredible

Great season two loved it. Cannot wait to see what you guys are gonna do for season three of this. Also, I love how you’re putting more jokes in the close captions they just make it all the funnier. I think my favorite had to be either the toilet one or the one with the ladder. It was the destruction of the campaign because I kind of did that so it felt more personal

This is better than any show on TV or streaming service. You guys are freakin' awesome.

Shmurple is classic and comedy Gold. I have to say the best way to handle that is not to avoid it but lean into it. She could have said that her cousin was visiting. Her cousin who told her that he knows why she's suffering from amnesia. And he's come there to help her. He is sitting right there in the corner. Lol

DnD Logic Rowan Season 1: "I am the greatest DnD player in the world because I have a complete understanding of the rules. Also, I listen and fully understand the DM." DM: sigh Dnd Logic Rowan Season 2: "I am the greatest DnD player because..." shurgs. DM: sighs.

"..after the fiasco at the royal halls..." *everybody looks at Rowan* Lol

Just recently got into DND, love it. Rolled myself a Human artificer and got jacked stats, does fantastic with combat rolls but he can’t do persuasion to save his life.

I was introduced to D@D when it consisted of a 6 sided dice, paper, pencil and imagination. Years later I became a DM and while many of the sessions were fun and full of laughter and fond memories, there were some players like that , and after 20 years in the DM trenches, computers finally came to the rescue and i can play in peace. Fun to watch something like this , well done to whole crew and the story telling brings back memories :) and :O, love it ,Y'all have made a fan.

The D and D math gets us all

I always struggle with understanding how my attack turn works, and keeping track of everything. But I was smart and didn’t want to drive everyone insane so I’d literally be figuring out what to do and how to do it when it was someone else’s turn. That way by the time it was my turn I could just do it. Eventually i figured it out and wrote notes and such but it would legit take me several minutes to properly calculate my rolls

Got to meet Rob this weekend at Deadwars and can I say what a nice guy! Excellent story teller. Was a pleasure meeting you Sir!

The part about random NPCs and the party zeroing in on them is exactly how it is. Every time they ask “what’s this random persons name” you’re ruined

Alan as a paladin is just gold

The wrong npc is great, a great visual representation of players getting distracted by the most random stuff. Oxventure (outside Xbox d&d group) has great moments of doing this to Johnny's npc's.

For anyone who enjoys these and isn't subscribed to their D&D channel - you are seriously missing out.
