The 50 GM f1.2 is probably the primary reason I stay with Sony. I don't know of an easier way to get images this gorgeous.

@BrandonColePhotography yes please do that & post a video about it. Me & a friend just recently bought a Nikon Z8 over the a7rv and we love it so much. The video on the Z8 is dominating the a7rv in my opinion with the ability to shoot 8k60fps. We're thinking about purchasing a 2nd Z8 as well soon.

My question is why the ad600 and why not the ad300?

Anytime I shoot in the summer time it’s always about overpowering the sun. So I want to have the most power possible. If you take a 40-48” modifier out in the bright sun with a 300, what are you trying to achieve? You want the most power in the summer time regardless of the modifier you are using

Because black doesn't reflect light, it absorbs it. You lose 4 stops of power as soon as you throw his garbage black "beauty dish" on a strobe.

@@CanadaBlue85’m sorry you feel that way. You can argue with the results if you want to. Light loss is something we never said would happen. Everyone knew that since the beginning and we have still sold so many because actual photographers love the look of the Blackdish vs other modifiers. It has been sold all around the world and I couldn’t be more proud of the product. I’ve done many videos with it and it is much more preferred because of the unique look it gives. So you can call it whatever you want but feel free to argue with the results. God bless

@@SuperTrennol I’ve heard. The Blackdish has been selling all around the world for almost a year. Photographers love the look of it, the quality and most prefer it now to the traditional white and silver modifiers that are essentially the same. We’ve sold over 200 and it has received nothing but praise from real photographers so I’m sorry if I don’t entertain people who are not even photographers on their little YT channel. You can’t argue with the results. But nobody can explain why photographers love it and what it produces… Nothing was hidden from the public on launch almost a year ago. Yes you lose some stops of light but what you achieve looks incredible and that’s what matters. Thank you and God bless

Should I wait until I get an AD600 before I get the Black Dish or will my AD300 be enough power to use with it? Can you do a portrait session with an AD300 with the Black Dish around golden hour? You can use the 300 with the Blackdish. I did a video in a parking lot with it. If you stay under your flash sync speed so you can get the full power it’s no problem. You can also get the 22” depending on what you looking for
