On February 28th, 2024, I took a solo trip to the island of Culebra off the mainland of Puerto Rico. The 1hour ferry ride was very bumpy. I had to take Dramamine to prevent getting sea-sick. We docked at the Culebra Ferry station and took a taxi to the most beautiful beach I've ever seen in all my travels, Flamenco Beach. I spent several hours photographing, video taping, exploring, snorkeling, and enjoying this beautiful beach. Even though I almost died, I didn't want to leave.
On my way back, I met a guy named Jordan and his girl on the beach. I found out that he lived in the town next to where I grew up~~small world. I had the best Pina Colada anywhere while waiting for the Ferry. As we left, we saw the sunset from the boat and watch the stars come out after. All and all, this was a magical experience, one that I will forever treasure.
