Thank you very much. Yes, they seem to be very hit and miss, but I think they are always just around that area. Many times, I have looked for them, but didn't see them, then someone else saw them 10 minutes later!!! For your information, the original video as captured was really quite poor... I struggled to compensate for the backlighting etc., and so I actually did do quite a lot of work to correct this clip. Are you in KK at the moment.... anything I should rush there for, apart from the butterflies?

It's called cheek pouches, not throat pouches... just thought you'd want to know.

Thank you so much for your lovely comment. I am hoping to get more film of stump-tailed macaques again soon, and in fact I plan to try to film all six of the macaque species that we have here in Thailand. Watch this space!
