I really enjoy your videos,. You speak very well, and are very articulate. Also thanks for ""NOT"" playing music of anykind. Your FSX tips and tricks has been most helpful. Please do more video's on this topic as I would really enjoy following along with your progress towards your PPL.. Cheers

Your videos are awesome. Thank you so much. Knowing I will NEVER be able to fly a real plane because of the expense, I am able to get very close with MS FSX and your EXCELLENT videos. Thank you so much for taking your personal time to make those FANTASTIC tutorials Sir!!!!

@Doofer911 lots of success for your PPL! Excellent idea with the theoretical and practical notes, I did the same during my training, which aided me. I suggest that you attempt to make practical notes after every training flight (post-flight and post-debriefing). + you can also make ground procedure related notes (i.e. things to do, or not, and things not to forget). It will help you with your training! Will be looking forward to following your progress and success! All the best!

Thanks for take us with you on your journey. Maybe you can tell more about the initial costs and the running costs for it in one of your next videos. Regading the motor positioning - we also have to do this on radio controlled airplanes. There you can test it on your own. :-D Looking from the top of the airplane the motor shaft has a slightly angle to the right. If you use a motor with just one cylinder, the cylinder is also rotated to the left (if you look at the front towards the spinner).

I'll try and remember to include costs in a future video! It'll be tricky because flight training costs can vary wildly within a given country, and then across different countries as well. We've had a couple of students go through their PPL training with us who are based in London, but it was cheaper for them to travel/move up to Scotland, do their training up here and then return back south, rather than do the training at a flying school in the London area.

Hi Joss, another great video. So since you have done alot of flight sim and studying beforehand. Could you compare your previous self study training to your actual flight training? So happy for you my friend. Can't wait to see your next episode.

Awesome! I just started my ppl training. 4hrs flight time so far. I came across your videos and got fsx. Your fsx videos were great. Im training in a piper warrior which is the same plane i fly in fsx. My instructor didn't believe me on my first lesson that i had never flown before. Are you going to incorporate the two ? Im only able to fly twice a month and use fsx in between to keep it fresh.

how is the real world flying in terms of controlling the aircraft. banking/pitch up/down in real aircraft & doing that in sim yoke. Pls do share your experience. BTW all you sim Flight lessons are really excellent

Real life is a lot more physical, you feel weight in the controls, you get bumped about by turbulence, you rely a lot more on what you feel. Also in real life, you spend a lot more time looking out of the plane to understand what's going on, whereas in a sim when you're sat still, you tend to read the instruments to understand what the plane is doing because you can't "feel" the plane.
