What is incredibly humbling to me is that when God made this universe, He had me in mind just as He had you in mind. The entire universe is a gift to me and you. Dear God, please help me appreciate and even be aware of just how much you’ve done for me.

Thanks for this in depth analysis of the first verse of Genesis. It always amazes me how short verses like this one can contain so much condensed material that can be talked about.

joe jayanth I believe that Moses put them together but didn’t write them. In the Bible when you read “these are the accounts” or “these are the generations of Adam” per se, it’s the author singing off. Adam must’ve written the first chapters of Genesis, the Noah wrote, then his sons did and so on.

I have a question if anybody can help me... Verse 1 of Genisis says God created the heavens and the earth. Heavens in ancient hebrew referes the the 3 realms of the cosmos: 1 Erets which is the earth 2 Sheol which is the underworld 3 Shamayim which is the dwelling place of God With that being said, is it safe to say that God created hell? I feel like it should be obvious. Just looking for confirmation...

Genesis one, divides the year into six months/days of summer and six months of nights/winter. During the first day (month March) of summer, God (the summer Ram) divided "between the light and between the darkness" (marginal reading), i.e., he made the days and nights of equal length = twelve hours each. He dried the waters off the earth during the second day (month April), leaving the ground fit for cultivation. During the third day (month May), he made the grass grow, when the cattle are turned loose to feed on it. The Sun, having gained his highest point (summer solstice) in the heavens during the fourth day, when he made the Sun and Moon, ruled the day; i.e., the longest day of the year. At this time, too, God, or Aries, having gained his zenith at sunrise, becomes the Most High God, i.e., the Most High Ram. The Moon, being at her full in the eastern horizon at sunset, of course gave light by night, i.e., shone all that night. On the fifth day (month July), God brought forth insects, creeping things, etc., which we all know nourish best at this time. During the sixth day (month August, the ingathering month), God made the " beasts of the earth " and cattle, and lastly man, i.e., in addition to his daily food, God gave man his winter supplies, if he were not too lazy, like gather them. it happened that all animals, man not excepted, had become sleek and fat, and were, of course, prepared to breast the hardships of the coming winter. "Thus, the heavens and the earth were finished and all the host of them," i.e., the six summer months had passed away. "On the seventh day (month September), God ended his work which he had made," i.e., he ripened the fruits which had attained their growth during the previous six months, "and he rested on the seventh day (month September) from all his work which he had made" (Gen. 2:1, 2). New Beginnings Church, Lynnwood I was unconscious once and found myself in the beginning. It was only light, there was no time, I was me but not by name and i dont remember having a body but i was an individual in the light. I knew nothing of this life. I had no knowledge of a tree or a dog or earth. I knew I was waiting on something but I didnt know what nor did I question what. I was in a place with no time. No heat no cold. Nothing but light, peace and me. I was moved to what I can best describe a staircase and what or who was at the top I dont know but the who it was told me to turn around and go back. And as you would tell your finger to bend I did turn around and woke up. I found myself in a dark hallway with one of my friends who had told me I passed out. I remember it vividly and that peace I long for. I have heard people talk about going to heaven but it was not the same as where I was. I have heard the verse In the beginning over and over and when I saw your video it peaked my curiosity. What you sre talking about in the beginning I have been there

I had an AOG public school teacher say to me long ago "I'm a scientist. Do you expect me to stand up and declare to my colleagues a 6 day creation 6000 years ago?" There you have it, folks, the real reason. cowardice. Rev 21:8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone. Didn't Christ say "If you deny me before men, I will deny you before my Father in heaven." Sin came into the world through one man, and sin bought death with it. So, no death before Adam. All these compromising theories are submission to evolution - dhimmis. That is the primary reason for the collapse of the church and society since 1859 and accelerating since 1948. What is the greatest event - the design and manufacture of a motor car like an expensive Mercedes Benz, and the fixing of a flat tyre, or even repairing the engine? I think it's the creation of the car. Now apply that to creation and redemption, which essentially is the fixing the condition of mankind. It was expensive to God of course. Even if creation comes in second, don't you think the Creator will be a little ticked off if you deny his very clear word in Genesis? 1 Samuel 15:23: Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, he has rejected you. Even Chuck Missler taught "God's primary jealously is His role of Creator." Just discuss with a pastor: Well ya know, it could have been a gap between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2. Maybe the days in genesis 1 are long periods of time or maybe it was 6 literal days. The universe could be billions of years old, I don’t really know and nobody really knows, well science knows. Maybe Adam wasn’t a historical man. Maybe Noah’s flood was a local flood. Maybe God used evolution, or progressive evolution or the framework hypothesis, or the big bang. But don’t worry about that folks, TRUST IN JESUS. Ask Pope Francis: it was definitely the Big Bang. God isn’t a magician ya know, and Genesis is a myth. But don’t worry about that folks, TRUST IN the RC Church. If the plain historical language in Genesis can’t be trusted, how can the rest of the Bible be trusted. If Peter had preached like that in Acts, we’d have no church today. The church is suffering loss of intelligence and dementia, and most pastors are suffering from lack of a spine. 1 Cor. 14: 8 For if the trumpet makes an uncertain sound, who will prepare himself for battle?

You can also find this exact same sort of praying in the Islamic following and he's also lying to you again because Genesis 1 2627 we were not made in the image of God. That passage the word god Hebrew Strong's number 4 30 means of, the almighty almighty God. Not the almighty God but that definition of that God in that passage is of, the Almighty God PS you can find the passage that says we are not to pray with our heads down in Psalms chapter 3

The reason you would translate it heavenS in english is the fact that there are multiples in revelation of further books. The most correct way to translate it, being a plural word in the Hebrew, is into a plural word in the English. Heavens is the most correct translation. This is inarguable. Regarding verse 1, 2, and then the 1st and 2nd days of creation... You're onto something. They are the same Hebrew word. They are the exact same things. Just in different states....enter the gap theory. @@garlandjones7709 No..The Correct way is Heaven. The King James isn't going to make a mistake. Any other bible translation that has "In the beginning God created the HEAVENS and the Earth" are contradicting the scriptures. The Kingdom of Heaven existed before TIME so you can't include that particular Heaven. The word HEAVEN in Gen 1:1 is talking about in Space which includes the entire Universe. Gen 1:8 is talking about the Sky which is the firmament that was seperated from the Waters. The Sky wasn't created in the Beginning but the Universe was.

@@cipherknowledge3555 you are obviously king james only and that is a shame. Moses didn't write Genesis in English. He wrote it in Hebrew. Be'reshiyt bara Elohim et HA'SHAMAYIM va'et ha'eretz. Ha'shamayim. Ha'= "the". Sha=sky Mayim=waters. Sha-mayim. Two things to note-- the "-im" ending is a masculine plural. The English equivalent is the adding of "s" or "es" to a word. Such as tomato and tomatoes. The 2nd thing to note is that combining sha and mayim as compound changes the word from sky waters or skies, and then encapsulates the concept of heavens. When I mention multiple heavens I'm not referring to the kingdom of heaven. That's a kingdom, not heaven. I'm referring to out atmospheric layer, the sky and clouds as the 1st heaven, outer space, sun moon and stars as the 2nd heaven, and the throne room of God as the 3rd and highest. Those are all 3 accounted for in heaven. Universe is quite likely an accurate single translation for "heavens and earth", but even then, the known "heavens" part is plural/compound. To end here, The "sky" is EXACTLY what Genesis 1:1 is referring to. The sky around the earth under the ozone layer. No other heaven. It's not referring to the galaxy or the throne room of God. Anyone that presents this to you doesn't know what they are talking about. Genesis chapter 1 in the Hebrew texts make it clear that there were things in existence BEFORE the first verse of the bible and that everything in Genesis 1 wasn't brand new. This is not a new concept or theory either. This goes back as far as Jewish writings go back before Jesus walked as a man through Israel.

I think god was an alien. whatever thought you may have, it’s just as absurd or plausible as the next, because we don’t know.

bag the stylized preacher man delivery....and get real. the pause and blip delivery does sound like nicolas cage.....without the edgy content. Nothing new in this message except a couple juvenile perspectives. PS I am a Christian who believes and knows the Word. I cant comment on the whole thing because I stopped watching a couple minutes in.

You most certainly are not Christian, nor do you seem to have much understanding of the Word of God. Pride was the original sin, you might want to check yourself.

In the beginning the sun created everything as it does today. It hovers over the waters and divides the water below from the waters above(vapor) The sun created with light Let there be light. It dies for three days (winter solstice)then it resurrects Only a fool will deny that the sun is our creator.. look at how we artists paint Jesus. Look behind his head. The sun and it’s 12 months Look at Leonardo’s “the last supper” These stories are parables ...allegorical

I like your prospective! It makes sense! Most people don’t understand that the word God is plural, not a single entity. God means Elohim, the rulers of the day. In other words it is simply the government. So would read The government of the day invented the construct of a so called God who allegedly the created the Heaven and the Earth and so on! Let us make man in our image! Let us refer’s to the three branches of government. This whole religious propaganda program was invented to control and enslave the masses. The Sun is the Son of God is really the Sun in the sky!
