It is such a joy watching you drawing Koosje!I love the sketch that you drew when you were 12. Already so good at art. The effect of the light coming out from the inside of the fridge and casting a shadow of your legs is awesome!!! Already so talented at age 12! I wish we had art classes like that in US schools. Great lesson ~ I love the drawing shadows only part ~ another way to learn how to see things differently.

I've always looked to R Crumb for inspiration for cross hatching. His "Art & Beauty" magazines are filled with stunning examples! He's quoted as saying drawing is just an excuse for cross hatching!
