Act 2 to me sounds like the news, since in the boss battle it showed weather just like a weather report from real news. And in the end it said “FLYING BATTERY RETURNS!” Like it was a news report too.

I am not a Sonic fan. I'm just not. But after realizing that this game had such immensely high reviews after several years, I caved and bought a copy. My god, I could play this level over and over. Pinnacle Sonic experience. It's incredible

Honestly this just cements Mania's success even further. Raving reviews aside, to hear a non-Sonic fan can enjoy a level enough to refer to it as the "pinnacle Sonic experience" is incredible! You sir/madame have excellent taste in levels, I must say.

sonic 2 best sonic game, sure it has flaws.. sure sonic 3 is improved.. but the pacing, speed, and atmosphere is sonic 2 is peak.

I agree with sonic 2. I loved all the levels in that game except for oil ocean and metropolis and I forgot, sky chase

How I see it is that Nintendo is generally better in regards to the games themselves but SEGA is better at literally everything else.
