I feel that in such a similar way, I've realized that after quitting my full time job and going freelance that I don't want to spend the money, not just because I might need it, but because I know I don't need the things that I want to buy, I can live without them and I bought them without thinking in the past only because I wasn't thinking about the long run! There was a semester in which I had to save all my money and still it wasn't enough to teach me not to spend with silly things ;-; but I'm finally getting better and understanding what I can afford and what's better to leave for another time!! Being 23 made me realize so much stuff, I can't even imagine when I'm 30 or smth

ive been binge watching your vlogs this past week whilst doing embroidery for my etsy store and my goodness. they keep me so motivated and inspired, i love how down to earth and real you are, i adore seeing your process from start to end and how much thought and effort goes into everything you do! your whole channel inspires to me create my own channel for my store and share with others info about freelancing and such. it's such a breath of fresh air to see someone so open about everything and the struggles that come with being in control of your own work. youre doing amazingly!

I totally get you about saving money and living at home. My husband and I lived with his grandma for the first two years that I moved over to the Midwest from Cali. It was rough. Yeah, it was nice saving money (not paying rent, just bills), but our mental health was deteriorating at a rapid rate and we didn't have our own "space" because it was constantly being disrupted. So this year, we moved out and while we have to budget really carefully, our mental health is so much better (minus what's going on currently in our world). It's doable. You just have to have self control and learn how to stretch your pennies!

Im so glad that you are talking about your financial progress and what you've noticed. Im similar as well, I went full freelance and started my own business last year, and it was scary but it was a really great learning experience as well. I am trying to mostly purchase for my business but there are times where I break and spend money on random things that I find cute. 😂Especially boba....I can't live without it! 😩. But yeah love watching your progress and your journey!! Keep it up!

I recommend just drawing straight up with pens! Start off with something like a ball point pen, and then progressively start using a gel pen and it should help with pen confidence. You can also start off with exercises like drawing straight lines up and down as well as circles. I used to draw hundreds of circles to practice!

No one truly teaches your how to be an adult. I'm 24 and an undergrad student and I work full time and I live at home and I still dont know how to properly budget things! I put things off until the last minute and I only clean things that are visibly messy but no one is perfect! Take some of the pressure off of yourself, every single day doesn't have to be perfect :) Try to enjoy the ride that is life

I am trying to! But I feel like because I don't live at home I have to work extra hard to prove that I'm capable of handling everything if I want to continue this lifestyle. I've always been so anxiety ridden with wanting to know exactly what I'm doing..I do find it hard to enjoy life. But don't worry I'm not like this 24/7, I have my down times where I relax and hang out with my friends haha :)

I was wondering if you would ever make a tips and tricks video for procreate? Or a “how I use procreate” type of video. I’m a graphic designer that always just stuck to using desktops and laptops to design my work, but recently I’ve been heavily considering getting an iPad to be able to draw on procreate and I would to hear any advice you might have on the program.
