Enjoyable viewing Rebecca. Thank you. Catching up with some sewing which I plan to finish over the next couple of days. So this type of video is great. Love the scenery where you live. Your paints look lovely. I remember a video some years ago now when you set out on your paint creating journey. It was an enjoyable and most informative time watching the process. Much more detailed then many think. Tell me, is it water you keep spraying onto the paint? I would love to see you using your paints. Maybe in something just to showcase them. Eg pre drawn doodles etc. Nothing fancy just so we can all see the paints. It may also help increase your paint sales. I plan to treat myself with a purchase at some point. I am really going to enjoy spending time with you both on here and your colouring channel. Even, just catching up. I will comment as I believe that helps a channel when people comment. Let me know if not. Have a good day. Of to check out another video and do more sewing. Thank you for the video as always. :)

Thanks so much for your lovely comments, Ane. Yes, comments and likes do help my channel grow. When I'm mixing the paint, if I need more moisture I'm spraying distilled water on them, and that's the little blue bottle, but the rest of the time I'm spraying rubbing alcohol to disinfect which avoids mould growth on them. I will definitely show my paints more in the vlogs going forward. That's good to hear you want to see them in action as it's making me think maybe more viewers would like to see that too. Thanks for the tip. Enjoy your sewing 🧵🪡😊

@@TheArtSpirits Ah, thank you for the info re the different sprays. Your answer makes sense. Re your paints have you thought to maybe make a seasonal pallet? I see you already do the sea etc which are lovely summery colours. However an autumn one would be great as would a winter one. I appreciate these would need to be thought about in advance but just an idea. You may think it worth doing. Especially with your lovely mushroom paintings. People often will buy and create over Autumn and Winter. I think something to do with the seasons changing and being indoors more. Anyway, time for me to turn in for the night. Unlike you being a night owl as you mentioned in one of your videos. I go to bed early and get up early. Thank you for your reply and info re the paint process. It is fascinating.

Hi!!! ❤ I love watching studio vlogs and vlogs in general. 😊 Anout the subs…. I was losing a bunch with every video I uploaded for over a year and I’m just now having subs back. I don’t think it’s all people unsubbing. I think it’s a KZread issue. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I absolutely love your sparkly paints! The more you show them… the more I need to save my pennies for some. lol 😅 I love all of the magical stuff in that shop! 🔮 And the cakes and coffee look so yummy! 😋 All of the food does. Making me hungry. 🤤 Do your arms feel like they are going to fall off before you’re done mixing the paint? 🎨 Mine would. Haha 😅 The Sleepy Poppies color is so pretty! 😍 I’m enjoying the vlogs! HI Jessica, thanks so much for watching, glad you enjoyed it. Yes, my arms ache a lot, lol. I have to stop and let them rest. Yep maybe it's a KZread thing with the subs. I did hear other KZreadrs say that it's old unused accounts that they close down. I'm just hovering around the same number between 24,925 - 24.960. It goes up a bit, then comes back down. I'm so close to 25,000 but it seems impossible to reach it at the moment.

Got to love a pretty To Do List pad. And that pale blue Bic biro, I have a pack of pastel colours. Love them. Biotin - it's used in the processing of thyroid blood tests so it's advisable to stop anything with biotin in it for 4 or 5 days or so before a thyroid blood test. It can affect the results, not in your favour. You might know this already, but wanted to mention it in case you didn't. Watching you process those orders is so calming because it's so rhythmic. I can never get a nice flow going as everything is a different size, weight and value and needs packing in different ways. As time goes by my orders look messier I think 😅 At least making these glittery paints, you seem not to need to spend all that time smoothing them out with that lovely glass tool. It looked lovely to watch, but must take a long time to make up a batch of paints. I used to be nocturnal too, but I can't do it so much now. I've never been able to find a dose of thyroid med that gives me my energy back so I'm always too tired in the evening to do much and although I go to bed late still, I can't be productive at that end of the day. I'm glad your first studio video did so well for you. They are very nice to watch.

Thanks, Sue. No, I didn't know that about Biotin. The last thyroid test I had was well before I started taking Biotin so should be ok. And because of the weight loss, I'm no longer on Levothyroxine. In fact, I was very very poorly last year for a full 3.5 months, from the start of June to mid Sept. It was bad, I thought I was dying. It was severe gastro issues and I was convinced I had bowel cancer. I also had severe anxiety like nothing I've ever experienced before. I found it extremely difficult to get help from the doctors. Long story short, it turned out to be the Levothyroxine. I didn't actually need it anymore and it made me very poorly. Not that the doctors worked that out, I worked it out myself. Anyhow, I take the Biotin as I had loads of hair loss because of the fast weight loss. I do think its helping, my regrowth really accelerated around 6 weeks after starting it. I just hope my hair gets back to normal someday. Nope, I don't mull these paints as it would grind them down further. I only use the muller if I'm trying to make the paint particles very fine, as it really grinds them down. It's a good thing for my arm though coz although I have to mix these for a while with the spatula, it's not as difficult as grinding with the muller. It sounds like you're still having a hard time with your thyroid. Do you still have the thyroid or was it removed?

@@TheArtSpirits Wow that's amazing, that you have been able to come off thyroxine. Sounds like you were autoimmune thyroiditis (Hashimoto's) and the weight reduction has put it into remission. Wonderful. That awful anxiety sounds very much like over medication. I have a hard time telling the difference between too much and not enough as my symptoms are the same for both and anxiety is right up in the list. I've never found a dose or medication type that actually helps me. My thyroid has shrunk now due to taking medication for years. But I do wonder if I were started on medication too soon and would have been better off without it. Now, I don't think I could come back off it because the gland has shrunk. Whenever I try reducing my dose I feel really depressed and lifeless. But when I increase it I either feel anxious or leaden and can't move. I've never had any energy from the damn stuff. It's made me so fat and sluggish. I can't exercise. I hate it. You have done so well to come off it and to loose all the weight. I'm only sorry you had o feel so badly first. We get almost no help from our GPs I find. We have to learn about it all ourselves and try to work our own health out. And it all gets so much harder 10 years or so before menopause!

Sue, is it possible that having your tyroid removed completely might help? Just a thought. My neice had hers removed. It's probably a long shot but what if your thyroid is working sometimes and sometimes not so it's just impossible to get the right dose of meds. Wheras if it's gone completely, you might be able to get to the correct level of what you need and be stable. My neice suggested to me that it could be my thyoxine causing the symptoms. I mentioned it to the GP (the one and only time I got to see a GP the whole time) and he said 'oh yes, that's a good idea, it could be. we'll do a thyroid test'. So I then got to speak to a nurse practisioner about the result which was 0.34 and she actually told me that was fine and I wasn't over medicated. Even though it was almost borderline. Honestly, they do not know what they are doing. I experimented myself by reducing my dose and with each drop, I just got better and better. The NHS is just unbelieveable at the moment. From my experience, they do tests to rule out cancer and that's it. There's no chance of them working out what's wrong with you. And, in the beginning, when they first put me on the medication my test was 5.6 which isn't really too bad and I remember a nurse saying to me that I probably didn't really need medication because it can fluctuate from day to day and my reading wasn't too bad. Now I think she was right. So maybe you could be right and have started the meds too soon. I've also been diagnosed with Adenomyosis so I suffer a lot with that. I'm literally praying for menaupause at the moment. It's becoming unbearable and I may ask for a hysterctomy on my next hospital appointment, whenever that may be???

@@TheArtSpirits Some good ideas there, but I'm not brave enough to have it removed because of all the people I've seen who struggle so much after that has happened for medical reasons. I'm a poor converter of T4 to T3 because of a genetic fault called Dio2 which I have inherited from 1 parent. In a way it's probably worse having inherited from 1 parent rather than both because it can be spasmodic. So it could be the gene fault causing fluctuations. Or I could have Hashimoto's thyroiditis but I've not shown high antibodies ever so I can't tell that for sure. Something seems to stop the hormone getting into my cells. I can trick my body, give myself a day without meds and I will feel great. But only for that one day. It's downhill from there. And this is a well known and little understood phenomenon. I had to look that condition up! Not come across it before. Terrible! I can see why you might long for menopause, but that brings a whole host of other horrors with it. Do they ever treat it with the Mirena coil? I had one of those fitted for very heavy painful periods as I moved into perimenopause and it did the trick. It stopped my periods completely. I loved that device. I've still got one as part of my HRT. If possible, try that route before surgery as they often damage the ovaries in the process and then that throws you into clinical menopause too fast. It's a minefield and you are right, the NHS is pretty useless. I never go to a doctor if I can help it. I went private for my HRT (which is then prescribed on the NHS but I got to talk to a knowledgeable doctor not someone who dismisses menopause as unimportant) and I see a private endo for the thyroid stuff. I have far exceeded his experience with it now, but he's lovely and I just tell him what I want to try next and he writes me the prescriptions I need. I need some T3 in my treatment, one way or another, and so I need to keep him. But I do have to go to the surgery next week because I have a new mole on my arm that's worrying me and I can't get round the fact I need to see a doctor about that one. I'm hoping I'm worrying about nothing. Onwards and upwards! We will survive!

Sounds like you've done some extensive research about the thyroid. That's such a shame it sounds like you don't have many options to get it sorted out. How awful for you. I can get a coil but it would be too painful getting it fitted. Just a cervical smear feels like somebody is cutting my insides out and the nurse told me that fitting the coil will be worse. I was given loads of options. Monthly injections to shrink the uterus which will send me into menopause, but I can only have them for 6 months. Contraceptive pill. Coil. Endometrial Ablation. Hysterectomy with or without removal of ovaries (one ovary has a cyst on it). I'm reluctant to try the pill because it affects the hormones. I'm already getting thin hair on top and this could make it worse, plus, it may increase my appetite. The same with the coil, it affects the hormones and will also be very painful. I have told them I want the Endometrial Ablasion but just waiting and waiting and waiting for them to give me an appointment. I'm so fed up, every month getting worse and worse to the point where I only have around 10 days between periods where I'm pain free. And I can't take Ibuprofen (which work brilliantly for this) because of my gastric bypass. I can no longer take NSAIDS. My last period was so bad. Pain for 3 days before, 8 days on period then 4 days after period so basically in pain for 15 days there. So that's why I'm now thinking hysterectomy. My sister had one a couple of years ago and she's fine. She did go into imediate menopause but she went private, like you, and got the correct dose of HRT and she's fine now. It's a hard decision to make. I might try and chase them up about the Endometrial Ablasion.
