I know you like the EH-50
*Yes of course@! Because it is a DYNAMIC EFFECT and not a modulation effect you must run it direct and not via the aux, because of the AD/DA conversion into the unit will cause latency IF you run it on the aux.*
The insert method destroyed the stereo spread effect
