I've bought an E 4.5 BT first, and later an E 3.5 BT. I'm using the 4.5 BT to listen to my music on my MacBook. The smaller 3.5 BT gets used on my Windows laptop for playing games. I'm very happy with them. I also like the fact that they both have Bluetooth connections build in. So it's nice to just drop a pair someplace and use my iPhone to stream music to them.

Very well done. I like when presenters don't have an annoying hyped tone and this is very pleasant to listen to. Now, I just wonder why compare the HS5 with the smaller Eris offering. They're apples and oranges. Comparing to the E5 would make more sense.

Can someone say something about the hiss/background noise ? I know the Eris have a very loud white noise when they are plugged in power only. What‘s with the Yamaha ?

I have a Yamaha HS50M and it’s very muddy and dissipated. Any idea why. Do I need to treat my room. Would the Presonus Eris be a better bet. Thanks.

if you're not able to set them away from the wall, put them higher (like... their own shelves or something to get out of the desk) and angle them down to your ears. That's the best palliative solution before you start spending money. oh... and don't listen too loud. the louder you go, the louder it interacts with the room. (PS the eris 4.5 is better than the HS for mixing in my experience)

Yes. I'm using a 3.5 BT set on my Windows gaming laptop. Sounds really good connected through Bluetooth. Much better than hooking up the laptop's sound output directly to the input on the speaker.

Hello great video.. What's the difference between the 4.5 BT and just the 4.5 monitors, beside bluetooth? It would make sense to go with the Blue tooth version I'm assuming? Or no?
