Studio Ghibli GIANT Clock! Does it move? Tokyo!

Фильм және анимация

Let's check out the Giant Studio Ghibli Clock in Shiodome, Tokyo! (I got off at Shinagawa station and it was only a few minutes walk too- just google Nittele tower and it'll take you to it- it's on the second floor) This was designed by Hayao Miyazaki himself! - the famous Studio Ghibli director and founder. Apparently he designed it at around the same time he was doing Howl's Moving Castle. Kunio Sahimaru built it and it took him 6 years with it being 12 meters high, 18 meters wide and weighing 28 tons (he's the same builder of the Laputa robot at the current Studio Ghibli Museum). This is a super unique art installment and pretty cool to check out if you're in the area! Let's find out if it moves?!!!!! (I've been told to get there five minutes before the hour to catch the show.) Thanks for watching ClickPop!!! Don't forget to subscribe for more Tokyo stuff! :)

If you visit in 2025, you can catch the World Expo in Osaka. So many people are rushing to visit Japan that it's overcrowded right now. The Japanese can't cope with that so, the level of service is decreased. If you buy the Yen now to save for your trip, you'll have a good fund ready for two weeks. I hear Zip Air airlines is around US $600 round-trip to Tokyo. Good luck and take your time to plan your trip.
