Just bought one and got it myself. Super cool watch. What really got me into watches recently is this 1977 Magician Mickey Mouse watch. Fairly easy to find and not wildly expensive but the design on it is very fun and appealing. Love Totaro and this watch perfectly summarizes the movie as you said, thank you for giving me a reason to spend way too much money 🙏
Saw some really cheap Seiko/Alba studio Ghibli watches on Sakura watches. They were definitely quartz however.
Nice watch and nice video! The dial layout reminds me of the Seiko Alpinist and the Seagull 1963. I don't think I've heard of that movement before but looking it up seems like a good way to find other limited edition watches!

I don't know anything totoro or ghibli but I love Seiko. Looks like a beautiful watch. Off to eBay to search Alba watches.
