.... Creating awareness is key..... It's important that the Tropical Fish Hobbyist community realizes that these conservation efforts are supporting the future of this hobby and the future of these Beautiful creatures we ALL Love... In my opinion, these specimens are not being over-fished for consumption, but for sale to the Aquarium trade..... We, being hobbyist need to be aware of the conditions in the African Rift Lakes and the need for modification and reform..... Those who have such respect and admiration for these animals, should be the first to assist and help remedy the issue............. Thanks Marc.....

Hey, I'm a young hobbyist from the US, and it pains me to think that these species are going extinct in the wild. I personally think that people need to work together globally to help these amazing fish out. I would like to thank you for your efforts of doing what you can. All of my fish were tank raised, and I am currently trying to aquire some wild color forms(but tank bred) of what I currently have, plus some tank raised saulosi to hopefully breed. I have already spread this video to friends who are and aren't interested in the aquarium hobby. I most likely will be donating my money strait through Ad's website, as that would be much more secure. Again, thank you for your efforts.

2 things marc, 1) I'm going to donate as soon as my next payday arrives :) 2)most people won't understand this but MM1 has dissolved (don't know if you've been on or not) but MM2 is here to stay and is still ALL fish people. So come on over once u log back on. I'll save a place for you. Cheers :)

Good to see your getting there mark had a change of Hart on the African tank .but will set up a tanganyika tank in the UK and my second home Zambia .We're I love to dive there next year

cant register with the african cichlid hub....because off verification?.....bullshit!

i will be makeing a donation before u go. but i do belive that hobbiest like your self & others should not be stocking wilds in our tanks for personal enjoyment when there numbers are on the decline in the lake, is this a sacrefice u would be willing to make mark. if we are to make any diferance we all need to do our bit.

Hi Andy, I only have a hand full of wilds now. Also the amount of wild caught that have been caught to fill lists not using nets is so tiny in regards to what the locals are removing from the lake for good. The suppliers, seller and buyer need to be responsible. I appreciate your interest in donating. Thanks
