When my baby died, at the age of 15 days, Allah did help me to go through it and to be 'a whole mom' for my first son that was 2,5 years at that time. Alhamdulillah. With the help of Allah we can handle everything, because He simply doesnt give us more that we can handle. Alhamdulillah for everything 🤲🏼

Oh sister that sounds so so difficult, I'm so sorry you're suffering so much.🥺 I just wanted to write this comment to you cause I feel like I could've written your comment myself. My heart is literally physically hurting most of the day from the pain I'm in to the point I'm pretty sure it has weakened and it's not functioning properly and every night I feel like it could be my last. I'm in so much pain and fear, fear of the future, I have no self-esteem at all, ever since I was a kid I've basically never been fine and haven't really known anything but pain, but honestly words can't even begin to describe how I feel or maybe I lack the eloquence to put it into words, but the depths of darkness that a human can fall into is truly scary... Truly our only help against this is Allah. Only He can heal our broken hearts and give peace to our shattered and lost souls. I've come to believe that maybe this pain is necessary for us to turn back to Allah and make us aware of what really matters which is the Akhirah... I'm pretty sure this is Allah's way of guiding us, and that He doesn't want us to be amongst those who are astray, who are enjoying themselves in the worldly life while being heedless of the Akhirah. I'm sure that Allah knows of kindness and purity in your heart and the pain he gives you is because he doesn't want this lowly life for you, he wants Jannah for you, because He knows that Jannah is so much better for us. We just sometimes fail to remember that and we can't always see the full picture. I try to remind myself that for the believer, the true believer, life is filled with trials and difficulties and is meant to be hard, because none of us can achieve Jannah without our patience being put to the test thoroughly first... that is how Allah decreed it. This doesn't take away any of the pain and sadness and anxiety that you're in, but hopefully knowing that this life is just a test and that we can have true peace and happiness in Jannah gives a purpose to your pain and makes it more bearable. May Allah lift the heaviness from your heart and grant you guidance and forgiveness, and recompense you immeasurably for what you're going through my beautiful sister❤

Ya Allah, I depend on You alone, I have no power of my own, when things and times are going well for me i know they have come from You and that I have no power of my own. In my trials, I rely on You. In my temptations and tribulations, I trust in You. My success and temporary failure all in your hands and so is my soul, I have no power of my own. Ya Jabbar, Ya Kareem, Ya Malik, Ya Ghaffar, Al Wadood , Al Azeez, Al Lateef, I cannot do and live without your rahma. save me from all evils, guide my going out and coming in, this moment, today and until the day You have destined for me to die. MashaAllah. A very pragmatic and realist Khutbah. A related ayah I came across by chance today. "Do people think once they say, “We believe,” that they will be left without being put to the test? We certainly tested those before them. And ˹in this way˺ Allah will clearly distinguish between those who are truthful and those who are liars." (Quran 29:2-3)
اللهم أحسن عاقبتنا في الأمور كلها وأحسن خاتمتنا. اللهم متعنا بأسماعنا وأبصارنا وقواتنا واجعله الوارث منا
Oh allah please give me strength and help me to navigate my feelings

This man knowledge is something else. Nouman brother lectures, points technique makes or awaken our minds different perspective. This generation ummah need this words and taking situation from quran and stories of prophets. And connecting dots to today's life style.. And psychological emotions.. Mashaallah brother you and your team constantly remind us of almighty and prophets. May allah bless you . And iam so astonished how almighty use these people ... As a reminders. For us to benefit please someone bring his team and him here in India to deliver his words in islamic institutions and colleges as here.. People are so blinded by culture. .jazakallahu khair
I'm speechless 😶 In this time of fitna, this just refreshines our Imaan.

Salaam alaikum. I think fear and sadness, those two words say it all. This really is the human experience in summary. It also gives one a sense of validation and some perspective, hearing that everyone, at every stage of life, has some fear and sadness. Asking for strength and guidance is the only answer. Appreciate your talk.

feeling fear and sadness about something doesn't mean you don't accept Allah's decision that make you feel that way, in fact, by feeling those, you accept destiny from Allah, you accept that Allah the one who who created the heart to then do their job, that is to feel.
Ya Allah we are weak please ease our pain and strengthen our Imaan Ameen summa ameen

Assalam o alaikum wrwb Ustaz Nouman! Alhamdulillah the fear of Allah (SWT) is the best ever blessing for a person to acquire. Only this fear can lead to explore the beauty of patience & expose the ironic truth that, -وَ مَنْ اَحْسَنُ مِنَ اللّٰهِ صِبْغَةً٘ اور اللہ کے رنگ سے بہتر کس کا رنگ ہے؟ May Allah (SWT) saves us all from the hypocrisy of a person, when he hypocrite, aameen sum aameen.
Fear seems continuous as it relates to something of future (yet to happen or not), however sadness according to the stories referred here have something in common about sadness (of the past) which is that Yusuf (as) got united with his father and so was Musa (as)'s mother, when his sister suggested her for feeding the baby...Our Prophet (saw) Inshallah have got united or would be (inshallah) with his Mother and Khadija (RA) in Jannah.....i heard that our Prophet (SAW) was also sad and use to miss his mother, who passed away when he (SAW) was very young....May Allah grant all of us the eyes and heart to see and feel the blessings hidden inside pains, that life gives us....Adam (as) was also sad about his disobedience and hence was advised by Allah (SWT) to repent and read Astaghfar....May Allah opens our hearts and guides us to the right path. Also save us from being impatient. Aameen
Mashaa Allah 😞
Thank you.

What’s interesting (and probably pretty contentious) is that, to me, this is essentially an Islamic stance against psychiatric therapy/medication for generalized anxiety disorder (fear, i.e. anxiety at its core is fear of something that has not happened) and depression (sadness- that is generally rooted in some event that has already transpired). I think NAK’s argument is that fear/sadness allow Allah to build character in oneself in the same manner that He allowed Moses’s mother to grow closer to God. In the same sense, I think when people work through their depression/anxiety, they allow for personal growth (i.e. become closer to Allah) To clarify, I’m not arguing against psychiatric therapy/medication for other psychiatric disorders (bipolar, schizophrenia, etc.), just depression and anxiety.
