He's actually a really smart guy. And I'm amazed that he apparently comes from a well-to-do family but he doesn't act spoiled or entitled at all, and takes good care of the team. It's cute how he calls them "kids" and he has old-fashioned Korean mannerisms!

I knew Jin was special after watching "Who is BTS?: The Seven Members of Bangtan". Here he is changing career paths with no previous singing or dancing experience and on top of that taking on the responsibilities of the younger members at the same time. American celebrities would have said fend for yourself. But not Jin, he stepped up to the plate and did what needed to be done. He might not have the same IQ as RM (not a put down) but he has an emotional IQ that is unbelievable. I am glad someone else noticed and gave him the credit and acknowledgment he so richly deserves. Thank you.

But Jin is super intelligent. No one has ever said what his IQ is, but he was the only one in his school to have been accepted to one of the best universities in S. Korea BEFORE the national entrance exam. Students from all over the school came to his classroom to look at him when word got out. Bookwise he is very, very intelligent, he is finishing his master's degree now while working non-stop with BTS. 💜💜💜💜, emotionally he is a rock, a column, a pillar to BTS and to himself. A beautiful human being .

Jin is the only one in the group that is a graduate in one of Korea best university. He attended the 4-year varsity full time class without much absentee during debut. At the same time learn how to sing and dance from scrap. He don’t even know or understand rhythm in the beginning. Jin has come a long way, my full respect to him!

@@huntersasa4742 Yes. All the member are well educated but Jin pulls at my heart strings. Like you said he had to start from scratch. He is the youngest in his family and all the sudden pushed into the position of the eldest member. That is so much more responsibility added to all the work of a trainee. I always feel Jin does not get enough credit. I have seen some of his videos that just breaks my heart. He stated he gets up hours earlier then the members to work on his body strength. Hoping that will make him a better dancer. It is rough to come to dancing at a later stage. Most dancer start pre-teen. Be he lets nothing hold him back.🥰

Jin is mature beyond his years. He has an old soul full of wisdom. I am 60 years old and I have learned from Jin. He is also so caring and kind to others around him putting people at ease. That is a wonderful trait. Jin is the full package. He has it all. I know I will miss his influence and the warm understanding love he shows while he is away.

I agree with you; I'm a 62-yr Army in the US with 3 children (2 daughters and 1 son) and my youngest child and daughter shares Jin's birth month and year. They're so much alike; very caring and empathetic personalities. I cried when I first saw the video of his performing Epiphany at the Wembley Stadium in London. I think he's under-rated and was happy to see him singing more lines in Butter. Jin's definitely the glue that holds BTS together.

The more I learn about him, the more I admire his hard work and dedication to the group. He is such a great person and BTS wouldn't be BTS without him.

Yeah, it really is.. Even after they got fame they still stay humble, they are such wonderful human beings, I just hate it when people just judge them that fast, jokingly or not, it just make me feel like people do and say stuff without saying anything and then just say they’re just joking or saying their opinion. People judge so quickly and badmouth people that fast with small evidence then just act like they know everything now. (No, you’re crying)

I am a 27 year old army. I love all the boys but Jin in my opinion is the most attractive not because of his visuals but mainly because of his personality. When you get to a certain age such as mine, what you find attractive changes a lot say compared to when you were in your teens and early 20s. He is very mature and put together. People would often mistake his playfullness for immaturity but the fact of the matter is, Jin is very controlled and deliberate in his actions. He is also intelligent in a practical way unlike RM who is more bookish intelligent. His work ethic is also a sign of his maturity. Not to mention he is handsome as hell.

I’m a happily married mother of two in my 40s and I feel the same about Jin. He’s actually a very mature soul with great personality, very caring, considerate and constantly pushes himself out of his comfort zone to be better. Visual aside, what’s inside of him is what I think makes him so attractive.

Completely agree 100 percent. Over time and after watching so many videos of the boys, Jin is the one a grown up woman would fall for over the typical bad boy. Seokjin seems like the one you could turn to if you really needed help or support and his help would be from love. He is an amazing human being, then there is his golden ratio good looks to top off everything! I wish him the greatest joy possible!

No hate to Yoongi but if he was the eldest, I doubt they would have gotten as far as they did. Yoongi was very introverted in the beginning and kept to himself like an adorable prickly cactus. Because of Korean culture, he HAD to defer to Jin. No one else. Jin was the one who calmed him down time and time again, kept his temper in check and slowly started peeling back the layers of Yoongi to reveal the soft hearted man that we now know and love. Jin is the real glue of BTS. He manages to set a tone of brotherhood and compassion and acceptance and this is the secret of BTS success. They have unwavering respect for each other, through the failures and the triumphs. Yet to this day, there are comments like Jin is the useless member of BTS. 😪 Please try and support him before his enlistment Army. 💜💜💜💜

I think Jin has come on the greatest journey with BTS. He has gone from zero to hero through sheer hard work and determination. It is never going to be easy for him but we love that he tries.

Kim Seokjin, hands down to the best artist I have ever supported. He showed us that hard work always pays off!! He’s an inspiration. Thank you for existing Jin.

Not even 5 minutes in and I was already crying. Jin is such a hardworker and an amazing person. I can only hope to be 50% of the kind of person he is.

YEah, I look at him as an inspiration. To be honest, I take all the members of bts for my role model. But Jin-shi is an exception. I also feel insecure when every praises my elder sister but forget my presence, I always try to do my best to make others happy as well, but sometimes it literally backfires. I have been looked as a kid and just a cheerful person cuz basically no one knows my dark side.

I am watching this and crying. Jin was soooo insecure. I only became an army about 2 years ago so the "worldwide handsome" thing was already a big part of Jin's persona. I would see him say this and think "He says WWH all the time because he feels the only thing he brings to BTS is his visual and doesn't feel confident in himself. " and it made me sad. Now watching this, I can see I was right and I didn't want to be right. Jin is so special and so talented but he has to work hard to be BTS's Jin. He's often quiet or he's the jokester. I hope that after all this time and all of BTS's success that he is confident in his abilities and can see his own value and talents. I know the other members really respect how hard he works and how he cares for them as the oldest hyung. He really is precious and he deserves the world. I love you Jinnie!!!!!!

Jin is such a sweet soul. He is caring by nature and even though he is quite shy himself, he goes out of his way to make others feel comfortable. People like him are rare. I hope that one day, he finds someone he can share his life with, someone who will love and appreciate him in the way that he deserves.

I remember the time when Bang PD pranked RM, and made him choose between going solo or stay w the group... after that Jin checked on and comforted RM... yes i think that was the moment my eyes 'set-on' him...

Jin symbolizes the millions of normal people who are at their own pace and he become inspiration to millions by his hardworking, to be consistent, to be cheerful, look to bright side, be confidence by practicing, mainly be accepting your self with limits n delimits n love your self. I believed that this video was aptly titled. I noticed in the beginning of starting to follow BTS that Jin looked like the most understated member delegated as comedian. He is such a worldwide warm, kind, handsome, beautiful, cute, pure, funny, hardworking, perfect man ...he is my bias and always bias wreck me...

He doesn’t know how many people he has helped over the years with his songs and his famous quotes. He is a live example for your hard work and effort does paid off . Successful are those who kept trying without giving up.

His emotional intelligence is beyond comprehension.. Given that he started to be an older brother to 6 younger strangers with totally different personalities at 20 y/o, it is crazy how he managed them well up to this day… No doubt the rest of bts have high respect for Jin, he is an brother and a father to them 💜💜💜

When I first get into BTS I choose bias base on their visual, and I choose JIN. But you know what, when you look at one good looking person everyday, they will just look normal to u.. nothing special about their look anymore (that moment come sometimes when they look outstanding but mostly they will just look normal since you saw them every day) .. I dont know bout other people but that is how I feel.. what made me stay as JIN biased is his personality... he inspired me a lot ... REALLY! I even wrote an essay about him in one of the most important exam in my country and I got a very very good score (and I think reason why I am able to get that score is because I wrote them sincerely) .. Now whenever people ask me, why JIN is my bias I will answer - "Because he is one my biggest inspiration"

Yeah the same was with me. First i liked his visual and confidence but later his personality inspired me a lot . i wish he knows that he inspires many people like us.

JIN is a real life angel,his song epiphany made me realize the worth of self love in my hard times,thanks a lot !

He was originally scouted as a Stan attractor bc the agent persuaded him to audition bc he’s handsome, but look at him now, he sings so well and his voice is just so freakin emotional and calming

To listen to him sing Epihpany gives me chills.. he has the MOST BEAUTIFUL VOICE !!!!We love you Jin !!!!

He's an absolute gem! Not just as an idol but just as a well rounded respectable and kind human being who we can all learn from. big hit and BTS got really lucky with having someone like him.

being an elderly person, i feel jurassic facing kpop like BTS. But I sit through many of the videos uploaded on youtube. Jin's interviews were always meaningful and relevant despite the dorkiness and craziness that he shows on tiktok and other videos. I appreciate his craziness because he is acting crazy to lighten the mood, to laugh through the pains and difficulties even through rthears. Jin is correct in his response to the challenges he faces and will face. those who believe in their sanity and integrity are the crazy ones. what can be more crazy than leaders speaking of peace but continue with arms production and race. What can be more crazy than destroying and polluting the air when we know polluted air will kill us later and maybe even sooner. in a crazy world to act sane is ludicrous. Jin is just manifesting the reality that we want to ignore. my congratulations to Jin. you are the wise one. you are the perceptive one. you hold the truth. speak yourself. speak truth to power.

I've always gravitated towards Jin ever since the first time I saw him. There's something about him that brings me joy. Jin you have come a long ways from when you first started. You are a very loving and precious human being. Your love for others doesn't go unnoticed. Your hard work and perseverance has paid off. Loving yourself is the best thing you can do for you. Jin in my eyes you are pretty close to perfect. Stay strong be happy.👄💜👄💜

Jin has a level of emotional intelligence that is worlds beyond what most people have. He has a gift for caring about and listening to those around him. He set the tone for BTS being a brotherhood of kindness and taking care of each other - Jin was the catalyst for their strong bond. To tell the character of a group, look at how they treat their youngest, weakest, or those on the fringes. See how Jungkook lights up and smiles happily around Jin, how all of the maknae line looks up to him, and how all of the members come to Jin in their own ways for comfort or wisdom? He created a safe space full of unconditional love and warmth and kindness. And that safe space allowed BTS to blossom in the face of all of their hardships. It shielded and protected them from breaking apart. Jin inspires me to think about others, to care more, to have a bigger heart when it would be easier to turn away. He seems like a lighthearted funny person on the surface, but underneath that is him paying attention to "what does his person in front of me need right now? How are they doing? What would give them support? How can I help them?" And this applies universally to members, staff, fans, etc. He is humble, hardworking, and is a role model for the rest of BTS. He has a heart of gold and I aspire to be more like him. I'm older than him, but I will be the first to admit I have learned so much about kindness and nurturing others from watching his interactions with the rest of the group. RM, JHope, and Suga are pillars of BTS. Jin made their house a home.

His strong character, dignity and hard work was a strength to bts always 💜

Jin is actually one of the most inspiring people around if you hear him exactly. I feel it does take a toll on your emotions and I know Jin would feel that too. I mean, I remember when once during the interview he said that he has no friends. It could be out of a joke but I think if it wasn't, then I understand what he meant. I have been looking at Jim from a long time and oh God! How my personality has changed but anyhow, I have been seeing him a lot and I have had a similar beginning to my self love journey. I remember when he once said to give yourself compliments and I realized ah! I have been doing that already. That really works for other too. And during Bon Voyage, when he said that he finds happiness when others are happy by the things he is doing. And I remember having tears because I have the same though procedure and I know how lonely it gets at times when you are really into finding your happiness through others and yourself as well. But your happiness does depend a bit on others. When he said that he feels he is not charismatic enough and that when he plays around, others don't take him seriously so he will act strict but that turns to fights. That happens a lot to me. People say i change a lot. What I feel with Jin is that, he is one of those people who are meant to make you happy. I hope people can make him that happy too. Because those are the people who feels the most lonely at times. They will be happier than others but they will be sadder than others too.

He is a fabulous singer. Epiphany is perhaps the most beautiful song I have heard in a very very long time. His voice has so much emotion that each and every song he sings just comes alive......He is just absolutely amazing....

When it comes to the dark side Jin is very good at pretending,knowing that he is very kind, cheerful person and loving brother....sometimes we cant see him that he is struggling, or like when he is injured its look like nothing to him..thats why many people love him and adore him.. We love you Kim Seokjin 💜💜💜💜💜💜 Our one and only World Wide Handsome 💜😍😍

At the end of the day, he's a human too. He went through all the hardships bravely and doesn't need to prove what he's worth and what he's not to anyone. Self doubt is one of the biggest things that can drag you down, but he overcame it and look where he is now. I've learnt many things from jin and I'm very thankful. Hes an amazing person.

I also loved the fact that Jin was rich before debut...but still chose to stay with BTS at their small dorm. He really treats them like family.

Jin is my absolute favorite but it drives me nuts when people talk about how “wealthy” his family is when he LITERALLY has never, ever discussed his family background or their economic situation. People read a rumor one time and run with it.

@@cwalls5362 listen. I never said Jin was filthy rich before debut. He has revealed before that his father was a business man. Which at least proves that his family at least had a middle class income. Which is more than what the other BTS members had. This shows that he could have lived normally in his own house...but he still agreed to stay in a dorm with 7 people!

Jin comes from an ordinary family. His family struggled in a small town. When he was a teenager, his father became a more successful and moved to a better place. This was just before he joined bts. The whole his family was rich is a weird narrative. Also, the other families weren’t? No one really knows about their family background. Yoongi struggled because he moved to Seoul without his family. His parents didn’t really support his decision to work as a musician. Most people forget that Jin was living on his own as well, before bts. He was a university student. Like a legit top university and he talked about how it was difficult to live in a big city on his own

I knew there is something special about Jin since I found out about BTS. When usually new ARMY pay attention and interested to maknae line first or rapper line first... but I felt different bc since the beginning my eyes and attention already caught by him... And as I learned more about his personality, I grew more interest on him too... and I could say that I fall in love with his sweetness, his kindness, and his hardworks. Nobody is perfect, yes that's the fact, but Jin is perfect in his own way... All of BTS member have their important role in the team, and all of them are equally amazing talented person... So I always sad and mad if there are new/fake ARMY looking down on the other member and always compare them to their bias... I mean it's okay to have a bias but don't ever underrated the other member talents and compare them to each other... Jin is my bias btw, but I love the other member too... Don't call yourself ARMY if you can't acknowledge and appreciate their talents... all of them... You are not ARMY if you don't love the 7 members of BTS...

The only part i disagree with is his. Leadership being ignored... Honestly jins leadership is the type that glues the team together. Its not always outward and there's times they are very outward, but you can see the spark and i believe the respect the members have for him. This man raised jk! Drove him to school, cooked for them, and as bang pd says it... "the members have learned and changed things as they grow, but jin is the one who has least changed, because since debut, he always takes care of them and makes sure they dont step out of line and He is still doing it" so basically, he is the "hyung" and thou shall listen. Im just glad that he has a family like bts, and grateful for bhit, scouting, training and debuting him. I might never have known him, or learnt so many things from him. Jin is really exceptional. He deserves all the love in the world. #JinOurMoon

Do not underestimate him.. I remember jimin said he used to argue with jin, but he later came to realize jin was actually saying things for him.. Things That he didnt even know about himself , because he was still growing. That type of leadership,.. Of reading situations and accessing some ones subconscious need and providing for it, without them knowing..... You dont know how amazing that is.

He is well known among artists, in the Korean entertainment industry as a very kind, generous and polite person. Each of the members love him dearly.

Jin is absolutely right about haters. The only reason people can 'hate' such a benign entity in the world like BTS is because of jealousy. And jealousy comes from a lack of love for self. People with good self-esteem have no room to be bothered to spend the time and energy it takes (and it takes a LOT) to be actively envious or hating on anything. I'm old enough to be Jin's mom, he makes me feel so proud for all he has worked hard to overcome and improve in his life. Jin (and all the members) deserve every good thing that has been a result of all that. Fighting!! 💜

So he wanted to make his mom proud of him one day. 😢 I feel certain there was plenty his mom could had been proud of way before BTS. There was a time when he was underapreciated.. i was baby army at 2017 n i was so sad since i still found many traces of some solo stans/ot6 talked bad about him, youtube content about him wasn't as many as rn, many army only focused on maknae line n many misunderstood him bcoz his dorky attitude, but the most heart breaking thing was his little lines in a song, his short screentime in mv eventho he is the visual (as baby army in 2017, ofc what i watch were 2013 - 2016 mvs), thankfully since 2017 BH gradually gave him a chance to shine, rn he is the most apreciated by music critics, seokjinnies growth in number (just from my observation), his merch n his baby RJ always sold out, seokjinnies not as good as maknae stan in terms of streaming but most of seokjinnies have money to buy his items.. 😊

He’s such a thoughtful person. You can see that in his interaction with others, not just with the other members. He is definitely my second most favorite in the group after Hobi.
