A lot of armys need stop seeing Jin *only* as the funny hyung or ‘worldwide handsome’. Rarely do people focus on his singing, song writing, acting skills, recent producing and other talents he has. It’s often a shallow compliment about his visuals. He’s so much more than a handsome funny guy. He deserves so much love for being such a wonderful person who brings comfort to so many. He’s so incredibly talented and hard-working, on top of the pressure of being the eldest and setting an example for his members. The guys look up to him so much and he’s one of the pillars that hold up the group....and here I thought that we left member stereotypes back in 2017.

I feel really happy whenever Jin is noticed for his skills rather than his visuals.. Jin is an incredible singer, amazing dancer, gentleman, athlete..etc. Moreover we can learn a lot of things from him. How to be confident, how to work hard, how to care, are quite among those. He is someone who wants to show his strongest side and success of his hardwork. Jin is precious ❤️

*Kim Seokjin is not just a comical relief or a comedian of the group. He is a talented vocalist, a talented acting major and he built that silver voice by intense vocal training himself. He is very hardworking and often does not show his emotions to support the other members. He is not just the "visual". He has one of the strongest mentality and he has very High EQ. HE IS A TRUE TEAMMATE. He is an introvert- an extroverted introvert. Since 'fire' he has spread out his image and become the funny one of the group and talked more*

I feel like some people dont realise what a big role he plays in the group. The members themselves have told it a number of times that he is the one who cracks jokes, lightens the mood whenever their feeling down. NOW THATS SOMETHING BIG. He contributes so much to the team and he srsly deserves alot of recognition.

I agree!! In my opinion, I think he acts as the oldest in that way. He prefers to support the members quietly by making them feel at ease in unfamiliar situations (like joking around during foreign interviews).

@@kxc7580 He has come so far on his musical journey, starting from knowing nothing to releasing self-composed songs (and his voice _always_ makes me cry). He seems to believe he's not a good dancer but I wish he would know that he's amazing at dancing. He may find dancing harder than the other members but he always makes up for it with his effort! (still mad at those who think it's okay to tell him he's the worst dancer in the group straight to his face)

I think Jin is the most inspiring member of BTS because he proved that it's never too late to pursue a new dream.

Jin is known to be a very loud and confident person. But the more you know about him, the more you notice his true personality. First of all, he is hands down the shyest member in BTS. He’s introverted, quiet, emotional and a deep thinker. When he introduces himself as WWH during interviews he mainly does it to break the ice and set a comfortable atmosphere. Even though it’s embarrassing for him he’s willing to step out of his comfort zone to make his members feel less nervous and uncomfortable. Even though Jin is the maknae in his own family, he is such a good hyung to the members and takes equal care of them all as the oldest. His whole idea of happiness is making the people around him happy so he himself can be happy! Isn’t that incredible. He truly is the most selfless and pure soul! Jin also always tries to stay positive because he likes to spread happiness. He really doesn't like to show his struggles because he doesn't want the people around him to feel bad or sad. I think that's why I cried for hours after listening to Abyss and reading his letter. It's rare for Jin to open up to the public like that. Jin is truly amazing! He also has the BEST mentality I've ever seen in a human being! Even BTS agrees on that. He has the most caring and loving soul! His kindness never fails to amaze me. For the longest time I saw Jimin as the softest member in BTS, but now I would say that's Jin. He's heart is truly made of gold! There are also so many small heart melting actions he does that are easy to miss if you don't pay close attention. Jin also has a unique depth to him that I can’t see in someone else. If I had to choose only one member in BTS to really get to know on a personal level it would be Jin. (I have no bias btw:) From the way he talks to us it feels like we know everything about him, but in reality, we know near to nothing. He is so good at separating the artist jin from the person Kim Seokjin… The fact that he also became a member of BTS with zero experience singing or dancing, and still become this amazing artist that he is today, shows how truly amazing Kim Seokjin really is. He took his weaknesses and through hard work made them into his strengths. If that isn't amazing, I really don't know what is. King Seokjin indeed

Very well said. I have no bias either, but I would wholeheartedly agree with you that if I had to choose one member to get to know at a personal level, it would be Jin. He is really inspirational, and an absolute sweetheart. He will be successful whether he is with BTS or not, he just has the kind of inner strength, respect and kindness that will always make him an outstanding person in any environment.

Jin deserves the whole damn world, he's too precious. ☹️

Many ppl don't recognize this about him at first sight but he's actually pretty conscious bout his looks, dancing skills and even weight. He worked hard to get the confidence he has today, and believe me it's not damning easy. Respect 👏

@Emily Davidson it actually does. I’m very much introverted but certain people or stuff HELP me be extrovert and outgoing but if I’m left to myself I’m pretty much the opposite. Jin is introverted literally every army knows it but he’s also extrovert in a way, theres a whole video about it where it specifies more. Jin prefers to be introverted but for armys and the members he becomes extrovert specially if the situation is weird or too awkward. If you don’t understand don’t try to comment on this post literally move along unless you do research 🙄

@Emily Davidson that fact that you think being introverted and extroverted is about energy sis no, you literally don’t get what I’m saying but whatever I wasn’t expecting you too. When you hear someone say “she/he is introverted” it means they are not social and very usually shy literally this is common sense, extrovert means to be more outgoing. Perfect example since you love energy (which is obtained by foods and sun) zodiac signs, scorpios are usually if not most of the time introverts, they don’t like socializing and keep stuff to themselves, Leo’s are very extroverts, they are usually very outgoing people they love adventures and can’t stop socializing. Being an introvert or extrovert doesn’t mean where you get your energy. I won’t say anything else cause you going to argue with dique is energy so have a nice day 🙃

Tbh Seokjin is more introverted than you’d imagine. That’s part of the reason why he and Yoongi get along so well because they understand that about each other and respect the other’s space. It’s just that Jin is funny as hell and, when he’s in an energetic mood, he goes full crackhead mode 😂 so he seems extroverted. Yoongi even does it sometimes, look at that run karaoke episode lol

jin still is an introvert and the quietest among the members, they've said it multiple times. however, he is really intelligent emotionally and often cracks jokes or is jokingly overconfident etc. to break the ice when the other members are nervous. we see them a lot just amongst themselves and with familiar staff in run bts etc., so we see a lot of his goofy side when he's comfortable around familiar people. i find it really endearing that he's willing to speak up for bts when they are addressing difficult topics, too. he's the one that mentioned them almost disbanding, and spoke up against chat manipulation, for example. jin plays a really important role in the dynamic of bts, which is one of the reasons i think rm mentioned him being their secret weapon. and he ain't called the manner idol for nothing, either. also i'll never forget when he brought that green guy to the front to dance with them

Jin is precious! Jin is actually very deep and philosophical. He doesn’t get enough credits for it sometimes because he doesn’t show it very often but you can tell by his attitudes to life, how he lives his life and interacts with others. He’s a quiet achiever. He doesn’t let people know his efforts because he doesn’t work hard for people’s praise. He works hard because it’s simply the right thing to do. So it doesn’t matter to him if the public doesn’t see it as much. As a performer, he never makes things about him, it’s always about how he can create the best time and bring the greatest joy to army. Jin really has the best personality and warmest heart. He jokes around a lot not because he’s naturally outgoing but he does so to lighten the mood for everyone and make everyone around him feel comfortable even at his own expense.

Jin is someone I have so so much respect for. Every time he tells a joke in an interview, I laugh, yes, but it also reminds me of the sacrifices of his own personal comfort he made for bts. I’m not an introvert but I can’t imagine putting myself in the center of attention just to make my friends feel safer and more at ease. He’s amazing.

Seokjin is such a genuinely admirable and inspirational person, and I can't honestly say that about many people. Yes he works extremely hard, but also I love his philosophy/worldview that it's okay to take your time, you need to be gentle with yourself and love yourself. He's very inspirational in both action and words (See "Jin's influence and love for BTS & their thoughts of Jin's important role 방탄소년단 진, '방탄소년단에도 영향'" by Seokjinnie Zone for example). He has a great sense of humor but he's one of the tamest members to be honest. He's straightforward but polite, he analyzes and knows how to act for every situation and the members would often follow along with his lead in unsure moments. RM relies on him a lot to support him in foreign interviews (that's why most of the time they're always seated beside each other). A lot of people tend to highlight his fun side but never bother to look at more than that. I can just imagine how hard it is for an introvert to consistently put himself out there for the sake of his members and his fans. Sure, there are moments that he stays in the background when he knows the others can handle it but whenever they can't, they can really rely on him to bring them up. He's very well-spoken, too (from Korean standpoints). If RM is the leader of the group, Hobi is the performance leader, and every member is a leader of their own right, then Jin is the leader that holds these leaders together. He really holds a lot of power in the group. He's so pure too and retains the innocence that he had before even as he matures more. I don't know if I'll ever encounter a person like him in my lifetime, he's a rare type indeed. Nowadays though, he seems to be really calm and subdued, maybe he's still dealing with what he talked about during Abyss, but that's okay too, I believe that he's strong and would find himself again so all we can do is to support him.

He was the youngest in the family, but suddenly he had six younger siblings. He takes equal care of all his member. A person who dreams of becoming an actor who has no interest in singing or dancing has suddenly become an idol. But people who didn't know anything said that he couldn't sing or dance, only visual. But he never give up. He always tried all day and all night. He's very strong emotionally, but he's sad and frustrated because he's the same person. I wish i could give him a hug. Yoongi has once mentioned about how hard Jin works..Once, Yoongi and Hobi reached the room early in the morning after writing lyrics and they heard someone singing and then 'sorry'..Initially they found it hilarious but then they found that it was Jin singing in his sleep.He was saying sorry because he was dreaming of being shouted at by the teacher for making the mistake..Thats when Yoongi felt how dedicated Jin is. Everyone says that we can achieve the dreams by working hard..But how many of us can be brave and focussed like him?? I love him so much since day 1. Jin improved a lot.

Before I even knew anything about BTS' background, I picked Jin as my favorite vocalist. I was lucky enough to see them in concert just weeks after I first heard their name and every time he sang, I just felt it in my bones. It just goes to show that his talent and skill doesn't need to be qualified. He's an incredible vocalist. A true silver voice. Also Abyss is one of the best releases of 2021 PERIOD.

These types of compliments now just seem shallow because they are so overused. Learn to compliment all that he is: talented, hardworking, wise, humble, caring, selfless, inspiring, etc. Jin is also the perfect example of LOVING yourself despite your flaws and insecurities. He inspires many people to have more confidence in themselves and to learn to appreciate all your qualities. He is beautiful. Inside and out. 💜

Thanks for this video! Actually, Jin is the one who has invited me to this BTS World. One day, I happened to listen to one of his solo songs, and thought like "Wow, who on earth is this singer? This is the kind of vocal that is so rare these days!! It is so clean!" I loooooove the way he sings. It is so pure and honest because there's no weird techniques that all the singers are using these days. It is both nostalgic and modern. As an individual, he makes me reflect on my attitude toward life. As a singer, he always brings a lump in my throat.(of course in a beautiful way)

And I'm crying again... He is the most hardworking man I've ever know. To ARMY who sometimes still forget about this, please appreciate and acknowledge his talents more. He deserves it. Just like the rest of the other members too. The fact that he is the shyest member of BTS, but he can also be so confident at the same time too makes me so proud of him.

Fact is Kim Seokjin is introvert but not Jin, Jin has a very playful side but not Kim Seokjin.

I really love jin and he is my bias because I think that I have grown with him wild with other members I had nothing to discover with them because they were all so perfect with jin I kept discovering and I felt like i am becoming the part of his life it was too amazing to see him becoming perfect like he is now

Even though he says he didnt know to sing, I still feel like singing was his hidden talent. Or u can say he was born to be a singer. The amount of emotion and passion he has in his voice is incredible

Jin was right, people change from other people, I was also a timid, introvert and lack of confidence boy back then, but BTS, especially Jin was one of the people that managed to influence and infires me to be confident, to be myself, every BTS members did.

I really admire how he was able to grow so well mentaly and is always trying his best for us/to show us his ''better'' side but is still honest with us and himself about the fact that he is human is that it's okay for him to not feel good all the time and that deserves respect big time!!
