That youthful exuberance from Mitchell at being strong and athletic is so fun to watch as it’s so different from Loz and Rauno which is why they make such a great pair. Reminds me of the videos with Eddie and Brian a few years back.

03.30 This is the reason that Mitch will be worlds strongst man. He is not too proud to analyse his flaws even if they are seen as something most would say he is good at. he is not just gifted, he is a student of his craft and thats what gets you to the top.

It’s hard to tell when Mitch is being serious. Always assume he’s joking! Rauno’s reaction was hilarious!

Mitch is bring a whole different personality to the already smorgasborg of personas within strongman.

That looked like a major blast! A real good time. Man, being able to get top, elite feedback/tips on deadlift and yoke like that must be gold. I love the idea of competitors helping each other get better; makes winning all the sweeter when you beat the best at their best.

Mitch is an absolut multitalent! Is there any sport, he can‘t do perfect?

when mitch said "biger then rauno" with that little hint of a smile. i lost it so funny !!

What worked for me and might as well work for Mitch were 1 1/2 deadlfits - you lift off the floor, lockout then lower it below your knees, then pull it up again (like in RDL), then put the barbell on the floor. It can be done with pretty heavy weights and beats up your ass like nothing, not even RDLs are as good as this thing to improve your lockouts. It's dreadful excercise though...

I have heard a number of people comment on Mitch's deadlifts looking pretty ugly, especially on the lockout. Good to see you're working on it even when you put up good numbers.

Realistically, yeah he probably should have been wearing a helmet when I was pitching to him off the mound (yes that was a full live at-bat from a 60ft mound). There were no helmets there for one, and when you get two guys that want a challenge, "safe enough" is good enough most of the time 😂

Mitch doesn't look that strong, but he surly is.
