Gamespeed is set to 90 during the Playthrough.
Since the AI struggles with certain tactics, the following house rules are used for a more entertaining gameplay:
- Building up a castle if the mission is made for it
- No forward towers/gatehouses (except if given at the mission start).
- No construction of any labyrinth pathes for the enemy troops.

This is such a great game. Glad to see it finally got a 4k update but otherwise little has changed. Thats fine it didn't really need anything other than a refresh to pull it into the semi modern age.

I agree, it's a bit unfortunate they didn't include a skirmish mode, a major criticism for many. But the developers were transparent about its absence. Hopefully, we'll get a Crusader DE.
