Cool video! I started to string my own Yonex racquets and the YT guy Harry from TennisSpin channel showed the Yonex Team appropriate stringing method where you tension 3 mains on one side first then 4 on the other, then you alternate by tensioning 2 strings on each side till you finish to not warp the racquet. I've moved to the Blade V8 since though and getting my V9 in the mail, wanted to see on any particular methods to string it. The V9 really helps on stability for my one handed backhand, which I noticed during a demo. I was wondering if you know if there is any benefit to stringing a tennis racquet with one-piece method (using just one piece of string for both mains and crosses) over the traditional method by using two strings - one for mains and a separate one for crosses? Besides having less string waste of course.. Thx!

I particularly don’t like the one pice stringing method because it is complicated to teach. I can make another vid for you if you want me to do a one piece. I just find it faster to do 2 piece.

Why did you start the crosses bottom to top? isn't recommended to start top to bottom?

On the blade you start at the bottom. You are right, you should start at the top to bottom.

Thanks for the video! Are there any advantages to tying the mains off at 7H vs. 5H (what Wilson recommends)?

Not really. Once you get used to it it is one of the easiest and fastest way to string that racket.

Have you seen the blade pro 16 x 19? Do you string it the same or diferent?

I have not. If you have both of the rackets just look at the knot holes and that can give u a good guess.
