Awesome video! Small point though, I think you really should have the momentary 2-way sliders on both grips, both the F-15E manual for DCS and an IRL dito lists both as having that.

I could think of one cheap force transducer. Do you know the pointing stick on Lenovo/IBM laptops? The red "mouse" in between the keys. I think that uses one. They are fairly cheap too, about $20

Hey brother great work, i bought and printed one of the hand controllers. Next for paint and wiring. One quick question. I love your stick designs bu cant use them as I have an x56. Do you plan on making an adapter or a variation for use on the x56 base? If you did, id happily pay for the STL.

I used standard dupont connector based wires of various diameters, really just whatever I had laying around. The springs in the trigger mechanism have specific diameters to ensure they trigger the buttons at the right time as well.

hello again i would recommend you update the p1 replica switch for realism... mainly the dimensions arent 100% correct you can find the dimensions on mouser electronics also maybe you could add some spring system so who wants could modify it to requires 4 lbs of force like the real one.. and maybe you could add an more realistic/replacement cap mine got damaged during shipping? edit: i think you removed the link to the clamp while updating the BOM

@@neok23 Yes that is correct! It gets quite dense with all the wires but I am experimenting with mounting methods for future grips (see F-15E front seat grip). It's 21 buttons and 2 axis. You could also use 1 arduino and a button matrix, however that can get tricky for absolute beginners!

where can I find info about connecting two Arduinos together? that sounds like a game changing development for me. prewired shift registers are expensive and wiring them myself takes time and they always end up being far too large. adding Arduinos is a much cheaper option.
