Stretford needs about 15 pubs in the centre. Also, all the local residents need to be forced to go out drinking. Get some life back into the place again.

Funny as fuck. I have lived in Stretford since i was two. What has happened to the Arndale is an utter disgrace (it was opened by Muhhamad Ali - No shit). Keep them coming. Top one. Nice one. Get sorted. 😎

At least its a bit cheaper to buy a house there. Stretford is way overpriced these days.

As a "Stretfordian" you sum up Stretford pretty well. It has become an absolute shithole over the last few years with many shops in the mall closing. However, it is becoming pretty trendy. Give it a few years, and once the developments have been done, you'll be seeing Georgina and Tarquin in the newly renovated Robin Hood pub full of pretentious pricks who couldn't afford to live in Chorlton. ​@@Bigste3429Des Guessing they didn't like the fact you speak the truth 😂 There were a few pubs in Stretford. The McDonald's on Chester Road was "The Bass Drum" - another pub full of drunken pervy men. Also the Half Price Outlet is actually a class shop so don't be dissing it 😂👍

Souljuice is top, the Hive is always dead soon to close I reckon. Head has decent pool table and lots of weird ales and ciders.

Grew up in stretty and it really is dross mate, stretford mall is the most depressing place on earth, they've banged bare money into it and its still shite. Cant polish a dog turd to be fair. the Robin Hood is only known for the fact that a few people have been murdered outside of it lmao.
