When the economy is worse, that isn't meaningless to ordinary people, life is harder for the poorest the worse the economy gets, and their purchasing power has been decimated over the last couple of decades. Minimum wage is not enough to cover basic needs - you would know that if you were currently in that position. If you aren't aware of the pain of other people, I congratulate you on your privileged life, but it isn't an excuse for your ignorance.

i just fed my kid, £3 FOR 4 Jacket Potato's, £2.50 for a small pack of probably fake grated cheese, £3 for 2 tins of probably fake tuner, and £250 for a tub of coronation fake chicken. he would be eating really well if it wasn't all full of poison and chemicals, they want us dead, i'm telling ya, they want us all sick and dead..
