I like BOTH... Track days AND twisty mountain roads! I ride in the East, near and ON the Dragons Tail at Deals Gap... and do track days at Road Atlanta and Barber. Of course, the Track is Wider, with no lane dividers, and you are doing the same turns lap after lap... But in the mountains, you can have literally Hundreds of different turns, with all kinds of elevation change and assorted 'surprises' such as getting tighter, or running right beside a rock cliff, or a hundred-foot drop-off 10 feet from the roadway... and generally the turns and curves are sharper and closer together than on a track... and as Josh said, the torque and lower-rpm powerband work better on the tight, twisty roads where you don't have 150+ mph straight-aways. { I ride a Yamaha FZ1 with some 'tweaking' for about 145 rwhp, on Q3+ Dunlops.} And riding the mountains doesn't coast $300 per day... just find a day with good weather, fill the tank, check the tires... and GO!

I rode this bike couple of weeks ago and had a blast...i do find the ergonomics very tight and having a hard time to find the right body position for cornering / kneedown
Dude you ride the xsr900 way better than I can ride mine, subscribed for sure. Keep it up bro!

Your so flawless it looks like magic
Wow, someone who can actually ride. Bike looks beautifully setup too, quite compliant.
Thank you for the pro-level ride demonstration and your personal review. Would you say that this bike is not capable of as far as a lean as say it's conterpart, the MT 09? I've seen the MT go pretty low and this one seems as though it does not. Thank you
Music of the soul😍
So satisfying and soothing :)
do you find it difficult switching back and forth between the shift pattern on your race bike and street bikes?
Hey Josh, looking forward to your battle next weekend in Wisconsin!
Great footage!
Love the tail tidy! Who makes it? :)
legend! thanks man
Nice one Josh! Keep them coming great videos! Next time try Mt-09 SP to see how it copes
Hello from france. I 've got the same bike and 62000 km no problem and it works as the first day. I love it.
Bring the VLOG back!!

Recep Furkan DEGIRMENCI Def not stock suspension I’d imagine
Saw this guy rip in Laguna Seca WSBK for many laps THEN MotoAmerica back in June he's intense.
I like everything but the guardrails. Nice video all in all. You have sticky tires for sure which I always put on my bikes.
Awesome video!!!
¡Hola!
{ I ride a Yamaha FZ1 with some 'tweaking' for about 145 rwhp, on Q3+ Dunlops.} And riding the mountains doesn't coast $300 per day... just find a day with good weather, fill the tank, check the tires... and GO!
I would love to see some more vlogs! Any chance you're doing any coaching near New Jersey any time soon?
Great Ride! Which Modes do you use? Greetings from Tyrol/Austria
love the sound of that one oooooosh!
Josh and Nick....great videos! Would love to see you come down to North San Diego County and hit Palomar Mtn. You'd love it.

I would love to see you guys hit GMR. I love that road. Its so much more technical then the "Snake" and a lot longer.
What a sound .. yamaha you just rock
Fuckin flying, constantly on the rev limiter and yet he never crosses over into the oncoming lane. Outstanding Josh.
That's my bike! . 2016 speed block yellow with the same exhaust and an ECU tune. Sounds much better when you're riding it though LOL. My bike really sound like that?... Crazy. Great video, thanks for posting

EastBay MauiBoy what exhaust is that?! Lol
Do you slap the rev limiter to keep it in a certain rpm range for the curves? I'm trying to pick up any tips I can to improve my corner performance.

Pretty sure hes used to litre bikes with higher redlines, so he unintentionally bounces off the limiter since hes expecting more rpms
Good to see you with new leather master. Really you gotta race pikes peak in this.
Nice riding man, get after it.
Proper bike!😁👍
Very sensible riding. 👍👍👍
You are fucking awesome brother 😊
That 3 cylinders sounds great
Shrrrrrredding! This is sick!
Hi Josh, I post your canyon ride video on our bike group, someone really intrigued by the way you ride, and asked where can get some kind of instructions from to ride like you, any suggestions? James.
Awesome riding and such a nice suit!! Where can we get this suit Josh!!?
