@@Brolys-drip if you're only playing to win you won't be happy when you're not reaching the desired effect. The most successful street fighter player in history Daigo Umehara said in his book he would enter tournaments not to win but to improve. People who suck immediately when they start playing fighting games need to understand that you have to learn to crawl before you can walk, and learn to walk before you can run. Everyone sucks when they first start. And the players who body you on day 1 of a game's release, have been playing that game series for YEARS.

Don't forget betas and demos before the games launch if sf6 didn't have multiple betas I wouldve been left behind day 1
@Dr.Ruffles
Жыл бұрын
@@romellpoellinetz7435 honestly, betas contribute little to no additional experience. Maybe it aids long time players of the series get acquainted with new mechanics, but most combos and the fundamentals they have built is all legacy skill from prior titles. Especially considering that most of the cast from sf6 consists of characters established in 1991. Their combos and play styles still hold up to date, so anyone who's been playing said characters like Blanka or Ken since then will obviously have more experience using them. All that's left up to the new player is pick a character they wanna stick with, hop into arcade, online or local with friends, training mode or combo trials. Ya just gotta start and keep going. And trust me, the day where how to play your character clicks with you, it'll feel good. Then it'll feel even better when you take your first win against a STRONG opponent. Make your pick, stick to your guns and run some hands. We all get better with time. (Just a foot note, I had a similar chat with one of my friends who was anxious to play online against randoms. Keep in mind that no matter how strong your opponent is, there is always someone out there stronger than them. Maybe it's you, maybe it isn't. But that's why you work towards improving. Take every L as a learning moment, practice changing where you went wrong, then use that experience the next time you find yourself in that same situation.)
Reminds me of Tekken 7. I straight up just used Eddy and spamed his spin kick attack to get all the Online Achievements 😅

Think that's bad try playing Street Fighter 2 in NYC in the early 90's as a young teen. Literal fist fights or getting jumped would happen around you and if you were like me or others at like 12/14 if you beat an older teenager in a match who was like 16 and up you could get punched in the face or arm hard for winning. That is why I can't get into online gaming for fighters. It can never replicate the atmosphere of what Street Fighter 2 did all around in NYC at the time from arcades to delis to bowling alleys. It's also why I miss fighting games in person because the vast majority of online trolls would not exist since they couldn't hide behind the screen. But yeah as a kid depending on what area you went to play SF 2 you ran the risk of coming home with a black eye.

Good to see someone's willing yo endure it, i grew up with fighting games on the arcade and while i wasnt necessarily good i wasnt bad either, at one point i was good enough to challenge the guys who were pretty hardcore at the games. I would recommend doing the world tour mode first theres an option to use classic controls in world tour mode aswell if you want to do that Teaches you all the characters and is essentially a yakuza x final fight game inside of street fighter 6. Plus you need to do that for the avatar online fighting achievements Also a trick for the extreme battle achievements is that you can get them fighting ai which is very helpful since people only play it online when theres a daily or weekly challenge about it.

The tournament achievements will probably be the hardest ones to do without boosting since you have to win 10 online tournaments and winning 30 battle hub arcade cabinet matches is difficult. Im at 80% complete on ps5 the only trophies i got left is the tournament ones and playing 600 matches

@moxxiesnothere How does WT teach you anything about fundamentals or the mechanics of this game? It doesn't. In fact, for people new to fighting games and SF6 is their first, I tell them to avoid WT because it's just going to confuse you. I've been into fighting games forever. I'm old. Insert, "Trust me, bro," meme, here. I did platinum SF6 a week ago when tournaments got fixed. Probably the easiest SF achievement list thus far.

@24framedavinci39 I've been playing casually since 5 but decided to take it seriously and actually try get good since 6 has come out. I still like World Tour as a story mode. you are right it doesn't as help much, but isn't world mode kinda an intro to game mechanics? I don't really pay attention to people online as much, but I read somewhere on a gaming site that world tour is a introduction to that.
@24framedavinci39

@moxxiesnothere If you like it for the story, that's one thing. Don't use it for anything else. If you want an introduction to the game mechanics, do the tutorials, character guides, and combo trials in Fighting Ground. I'm guessing you have a character you like more than the others? Stop playing people online until you can do all their combo trials in one go without messing up once. I guarantee once you do all that, master rank will seem like nothing to you. You can get advanced tech further on by watching pros who use your character and try to mimic what they do.
