The Survivor® features a low-profile bezel that doesn’t interfere with gear and equipment. The light now comes with two optional Smoke Cutter® plugs that allow you to customize the beam to your preference without changing the light’s output. We also redesigned the clip and added a reinforced D-ring so your light hangs forward.

Would love it if you guys could bump the lumen up. Even to 300-400. Nothing crazy.

I'm getting one for firefighter training
I have the the 1st generation of the Survivor. Starting to have problems it though. I'm looking at possibly getting the 2nd generation Survivor. Just looking for a good price tag.
seems like a good light, lots of great features. Anyone else think they shoulda found a band other than Nickleback to do the backing track??

I recently bought a survivor and am very convinced of the lamp! However, I don't look through the essays, what should the black or yellow smoke cutter do? I personally tried both and noticed no difference in terms of the lighting effect

The black plug significantly reduces peripheral light for a tighter beam. Amber plug reduces peripheral light and eye fatigue caused by glare. By not using either plug, you get the traditional Survivor beam.
I love this light but I’m not sure that’s intrinsically safe

I am a firefighter, but I bought one for personal use (AA battery powered one are about 50$ on Amazon) works great for mechanic work, roadside visibility, and for me, seeing and tracing cables in a 50ft tall ceiling by keeping the light on it. Works great so far, been using it for personal work for about two weeks and I love it, even survived -5f sledding for 3 hours

Hello! I bought mine a month ago and I love it! But I have a question. How do I know when it fully charge? Its been charging for 15 hours and the red light still on

Hello, rechargeable battery can be recharged up to 1,000 times. Also accepts four "AA" alkaline non-rechargeable batteries for fast replacement with readily available batteries. 230V/240V configurations with NiMH battery not Class 1, Div. 1 rated. No se que le paso a mi linterna, derepente no prendió más, ase un mes atrás, gurgeteando la linterna, ( mobiendola prendió), después la puse a cargar y no prendió

im a career firefighter with multiple streamlight purchases. for years i buy them.. and the damn top button fails. last one that broke i was told i would get a replacement sent out and nothing happened. shame.

Alex, was this replacement done through our customer service team? If so, did you ever try following up with our customer service team?
I have several of these survivors, given to me. They work great for what they are designed for, firefighting, and they're built like a tank. But as an everyday flashlight, they suck. Not very bright, maybe 175 Lumen's, some have 250, and its a narrow beam. For the price, you are paying for the build quality, not the light itself. For the same price with 4000 actual lumens, get a ThruNite TC20 V2. The best investment I have made in a flashlight. Also uses a 26650 battery.

Uso no combate a incendio estrutural, atividades de busca e salvamento e até sinalização de transito. É uma excelente lanterna para as atividades do Bombeiro Militar, existe a possibilidade de usa-la com bateria recarregável (KIT específico) e ainda acompanha 2 "plugs" denominados "smoke cutter" que ajudam na visibilidade em caso de ambiente tomado pela fumaça. Ela aguenta altas temperaturas, foi feita para isso, agora água é somente IPX4, além de ser a prova de explosão não havendo problema em ser usada em ambiente confinado e tomado por gases inflamáveis. Possui 3 modos de operação (forte, fraco e intermitente), clipe para fixação na capa de aproximação e usa 4 pilhas tipo AA.
