    The throwback to bill losing that big fish. He’s so calm about it. Probably has landed many larger fish so that one was no sweat. I’d be crying my way to the nearest bar.

    The unique thing about these Atlantic salmon is that they are actually feeding during their 'spawning run'. I guess it is because they are moving from fresh water to fresh water. Normally sea-going Atlantic salmon don't feed when they are returning to fresh water to spawn. They then only strike lures and flies out of 'aggressiveness', not to eat something...

    Hmmmmm. A Canadian Fishery benefiting from American stocking yet again. Time to ask the MNR and Canadian government where YOUR license fee is going, and maybe not relying on the volunteers.
